Simple: The Gan 356 i is better as a speedcube, but the gocube has more overall technological features for recording stats.

I don't have the gan i but I do have the gan i play, and the gocube, I am very glad I bought the gan, but.. the gocube is just better, it has more fancy tech to it, on the other hand the gan is a better speedcube, so it's a give and take, but I prefer the go cube

*Tingman, or anyone, please help* , I'm red-green colorblind, and now I just got the rs3M 2020, I really like this cube and I want it to be my main, but its color scheme really badly affects my times. With my previous cube, the rs2 M, the green and orange are much more distinct from one another, but with the rs3 M 2020, for me, they look really identical, so when speedsolving, I sometimes mess up green and orange when making the white cross, inserting the orange green f2l pair, but having the edge flipped, and having problems recognizing the pll case. If someone could help on what I could do, I would be REALLY happy. I really want to main the rs3m, but my disability makes it hard for me. PS: For the rs2 m, I sometimes mess up green and yellow (but just a little bit)

I have to say I prefer the 356i over the Go cube; it just feels more cubey (is that word?) They're both quite great though! Loved your musical performance :)

Thank you for doing that cool giveaway, you are the best! I just got my Go Cube three days ago. Was a bit sceptical about the shape but you get used to it very fast. It's a lot of fun for sure and I'm glad I decided to get one. Never had any issues with the Giiker cube other than the annoyingly noisy turning.

The GoCube is the best cube I own, due to simply not buying any good quality 3x3 ever. So I love the way it spins and cuts corners. Unfortunately, mine doesn't work anymore. I got it by supporting the original crowdfunding campaign and now it's battery is completely dead. It seems that if you leave the GoCube lying on the shelf for too long without charging it - the battery will simply never charge again, rendering the cube no longer smart. Also, I heard they were going to release some SDK or API to allow people to develop third party apps for the GoCube and they never followed through on that promise, which is a huge let down for game devs who'd like to make cool games that use a cube as a controller.

Good comparison on those three cubes. It's a shame that so much of it comes down to the software for each brand. Wouldn't it be great if there was a universal app that could function with any brand of smart cube?

Note: Every time you said accelerometer, you were referring to a gyroscope. A gyroscope detects orientation. An accelerometer detects motion (acceleration).
