I fear many of us fell for Jane at first sight. I got to meet her in about 1996 while she was in frosted during an in-store appearance. She was cool, and I spoke to her without sounding like an idiot. It was a good day.

Always my favorite Go Go's song, and (IMO) one of the catchiest and most infectiously bopping tunes from the '80s. Loved the chair dancing!

This was co-written by the late great Terry Hall of the Fun Boy Three, The Specials and The Colourfield fame, when he and Jane Wiedlin were an 'item', the FBT did their own cover later, sadly missed RIP 🇬🇧

When I was little I had the BIGGEST crush on Belinda Carlisle lol. Iconic band! Their debut album went to #1 - something no other all-female band that performed their own material has done to this day.

Really good fun song, very catchy with the vocals of Belinda Carlisle who went on to be a great solo artiste. A slower version of this song was done by Fun Boy Three who included Terry Hall of The Specials-Colin Ward

Lead singer Belinda Carlisle went on to have the most successful solo career of all the girls in the band with multiple hit albums, compared to the groundbreaking Go-Go's original three. At 65 she's still recording believe it or not.

Jane Weidlin co-wrote this with Tom Hall of The Specials and Fun Boy Three. The Fun Boy Three version is darker. This is about an affair the two had when the two bands toured together.

Late 1981 the Go-Go's opened for the band The Police, the Go-Go's blew them out of the water for the whole concert. The Police performance was Bland it was all the same beat the same rhythm there was no imagination to the different songs they played it was a headache they gave me a splitting headache. The Go-Go's top drawer. Try out the rest of their songs on this one first album of theirs. Always will be my favorite album of theirs ,thank you.
