Presenting, the longest and one of the most expensive videos produced at UNFILTERED by Samdish!
On the first episode of 'The GOAT Show' we give you acclaimed and internationally respected documentary filmmakers (drumrolls!) Rintu Thomas, Pankaj Rishi Kumar, Vinay Shukla, Sushmit Ghosh and Khushboo Ranka.
Samdish sat down with this bunch of amazing storytellers and discussed how one sustains themselves being a documentary maker, the current scenario of Indian documentaries, Bigg Boss, Will Smith's slap, favourite cities, the question of ownership in storytelling within the realm of documentaries and much much more.
Presenting the first episode of 'The GOAT Show’;
The GOAT Documentary Filmmakers of India | The GOAT Show | Unfiltered by Samdish | Powered By Woodland
P.S. Samdish recommends watching this masterpiece at 1.25x, producer Dhirendra vehemently disagrees.
Henceforth, he stands fired.

About frickin time we had a doc filmmakers round-table in this country! Payal K would have been such a healthy addition to this. Vinay is so irreverent, so much fun. BUt Sushmit & Rintu take the cake for me - so vulnerable, yet so eloquent, elegant. Love them. More power to you!

I am a researcher in Germany and I related so much with their process of making a documentary. The ups and downs of a sine curve is so true! And It can become a lonely journey where nurturing a strong support system is essential. Thank you so much for making my Sunday amazing. Keep up the great work!

Great video, but the tagging of individuals featured and the details of the discussed documentaries could be improved. The titles of the documentaries are missing, making it hard to track them down for further viewing. Proper references would greatly enhance the ability to follow up on what the guests discussed.

Thats really great that u did and Interview with Documentary Film makers i am watching it very late. Indian Independent Documentary film scene is very tight. Very less can survive doing it. Even i am Independent filmmaker and have Produced most of work myself by doing commercial work. other than Film festivals there are very little audiences to it the scene is changing now but at a very slow pace. People should watch Documentaries not just to support but to make self aware whats happening around also If people start buying tickets it can be also screened on theaters and there will boost to Independent Docu scene.There are lot stories to be told in the world but a proper economic steam the Independent Docu scene will get change!
