Thank you for this simple arrangement! We attend a small church plant and the pastor is about to start a series on Abraham. I didn't grow up singing hymns so was unfamiliar with this one - but it's so applicable. Since I had to teach it to the congregation and am the entire "worship team," this video really helped me learn it! I listened to it on repeat. Thank you for a simple version with clear lyrics!!!!

Love this Hymn, don’t sing it so much nowadays with all the modern music in my fellowship. I really like the arrangement and the lyrics.Thank you, look forward to singing it anew before the thrown with you the million others some day soon. Blessings!

This tune and prayer is based on the Jewish prayer Yigdal (Magnify). The tune dates back to the 1400's and was used as the basis for the Christian prayer (used here) in London in 1770. You can hear Yigdal here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/irqahqxyvsvWkXU.html

Yes, as a Jew, I agree. Christians are our brothers, we all worship the same God. There is a Jewish statement signed by hundreds of Rabbis, "Dabru Emet" which states this. @@robrobinson9281
