I enjoy using my hammerhead w/ rampage and desperate measures. Lucked out and got it as a shiny.

The best part about Fourth Times and Killing Tally is that it’s the curated roll! All you have to do is do the quest and you guaranteed have it, which is a huge help. I’ve been using it while farming Onslaught for other weapons and it’s been so fun.

Destabilizing Rounds w/ Desperate Measures + a 73 round mag on a Void build with Volatile rounds and Devour active would be the hidden powerhouse. Potentially an entire room could be cleared in half a mag. Plus an Artifact mod for Void in the Final Shape… could be godly.

Hey, grats on the move! Thanks for all your content, you got me through my first and only solo dungeon clear (not flawless, but still).

In my opinion, Rampage and Killing Tally still outshines Desperate Measures for a few reasons. Rampage still requires you to get kills to stack it up to x3, with Killing Tally having the same requirement; You can essentially ramp up both perks at once with just 3 kills. It's better in my opinion to just get 3 quick lmg kills for that 73% multiplicative damage buff instead of expending your grenade/melee that typically has around a 1 minute cooldown timer after use. Indomitability does restore 5% of your grenade per kill you get with x weapon and is a suitable pairing with Desperate Measures, but even with grenade kickstart to get Desperate Measures going- you then run into the issue of armor charge consumption, and just generally requires a lot more careful attacks and thought with your grenades. On top of that, Desperate Measures does have a timer... and you will run into situations where there won't be ads to refresh or buff the perk, and thus- losing your damage. With Killing Tally, even if Rampage runs out- you still have 30% Damage up as long as you keep your Hammerhead out, allowing you to get rampage going easier. While I do understand the synergy you're going for, I divide Commemoration and Hammerhead into 2 seperate rolls. Commemoration is better at taking down trash ads with Reconstruction Killing Tally, having it reload in your back pocket up to 150 rounds allows you to just chew through the horde up to a degree. Commemoration also having more reserves than Hammerhead makes it the clear winner against red bar ads. Hammerhead, regardless of what you take in the 4th column (Desperate Measures/Killing Tally) combined with Rampage allows you to use it for higher health majors and mini-bosses if you can keep it amped, and generally packs a lot more power in the bullets it uses than Commemoration. In an ideal world, I would have a shiny Hammerhead with Rampage/Weewoo Rounds in the 3rd Column, with Killing Tally/Desperate Measures in the 4th, Flared Magwell - Fluted Barrel, Reload Speed Masterwork. But the chances of getting that is well, you're better off winning the lottery

Having 200+ bullets and not needing to ever reload it is very helpful. As someone who is dedicated to add clear like myself, i use 2 add clear weapons. Both with Desperate Measures. Recluse and Hammerhead. Once i proc x3 Desperate Measures on recluse, its also procced on hammerhead. So once i swap i have 200+ bullets and a 30% damage buff before killing anything with it. And i can keep this loop between recluse and hammerhead going until there's no enemies to kill. Combined with my little void buddy on warlock, i can wipe entire rooms by myself. So. You guys can skip envious but im not. Thats a god roll for me. Slap a major spec on it in harder content and yellow bars are easy to deal with. With the right primary and energy combo, champions can be dealt with as well. Whats also cool is i can use a primary like midnight coup with firefly/Desperate Measures and get this same loop. And use a better energy weapon than recluse depending on what im playing.

I’d argue that’s it’s only a slight difference from DM and KT. KT has easy of use and flexibility due to it not being on a timer or requiring you land grenade/melee kills. If you’re going to throw a grenade either the ads are going to die or be 1 shot anyways. DM forces you to work within a certain timing and set up.

I actually have not gotten a hammerhead besides the one shax gives you this week because I kinda felt that my commemoration already had me covered, but maybe I will get one of this roll you talked about!

Rampage/KT on a Titan with AWR is an add clearing monster, that is applicable to boss damage in Onslaught. It destroys everything but bullet sponges, to include tanky majors.

Thanks for the video. I am not a pve guy at all but I try to get good pve weapons if it's easy (I only work hard for my pvp weapons). I deleted 4th times the charm and killing tally and a rampage/ desperate measures roll last night because I was listening to everyone else about the one God roll. Oh well hopefully I get lucky again because you have me convinced on desperate measures

Hell yeah, can count on Tizzle to come prepared with the knowledge! Ive been saying this about Hammerhead since we got to see the perks. Sure rampage/killing tally is great, but Commsmoration does Killing Tally better. I wasnt entirely sure as we hadnt gotten to use Desperate Measures at that time, but i have been lucky enough to get my rampage/DM roll and its even better than i thought. Its a great combo, DM is very easy to use and maintain, with a loader mod and decent reload on the Hammerhead, especially once enhanced, you can keep both up through the reload. If you havent yet, give Desperate Measures a try!

I have a shiny hammer head with envious or rewind, and target lock or high impact reserves. I can have 219 in the mag bad just destroy anything, use it for damage, ad clear, anything. Love it.

It’s pretty simple on Hammerhead. You have several options for 2 damage perks on one gun. A damage perk in 3rd and 4th column. Bungie rarely ever offers that on weapons. You have several option that all work similarly.

I really like that approach. I had not thought about it this way. If such a roll drops for me, I will keep it. But now I am having lots of fun with the rampage/tally roll I finally got... not shiny though.😢

Everyone always says "kill all the adds with the lmg but really you can kill a lot of adds even in high end content when theyre not too grouped up with ur special and primary even as you move through and perform the objectives and whatnot and then save the lmg when theres a flood of adds and yellow bars all at once. I think env assassin and rewind is great this way when you mag dump and its so fun.

I got a shiny with Rampage and Killing Tally. I'm definitely gonna use that because of the amount of power behind the bullets at max stats. I 4 shot a high health ad at the start of an Onslaught with that thing. Absolute beast.

I did legend Lightfall campaign on my other 2 characters before Final Shape, turn of dialogue audio and it's doable. Hammerhead with under-over and killingtally is king in that content with all of the overshields the cabal have. On ads killingtally x3 did around 6000 dmg on headshots, but when under-over worked I saw numbers like 9000dmg up to 27000dmg depending on redbar or orange bar. Under-over is slept on.

I have a couple rolls I'm saving. Destabilizing rounds and Desperate Measures, Rampage/Killing Tally, and the curated roll. Are Contraverse Hold good anymore? Watched a video and saw the energy returns were pitiful so I haven't ran it.

I use rampage with Target lock. So I can clear adds fast enough and still have some damage buff when I need to kill some though mobs.

My friend and I got rampage/desperate measures as our first drops. I like it. I now have pretty much every combo I wanted. I have a fourth time/target lock just in case it's good one day lol. I have rewind/killing tally, another with destabilizing/killing tally which I also like too. I have rampage/onslaught which is fun with my Titan using Actium War Rig. I think I have about ten of these so far and half of them are shiny. I was doing a ton of legend runs, then decided to just do fifty on easy mode and that's where I've received most of my shiny drops for every gun. It's fun to not have to try so hard when grinding these out even though they have less drops. I may just be lucky though because a few of my other friends say they haven't had many shinys drop yet at all.

contra got his hard this season i dont know if youve tried it but with the ab changes you really feel the hit on it after the changed how ab gen works per abblity

FTTC + Target Lock is still a nice roll to DPS since we're going to be able to upgrade those perks in Final Shap, dont forget that.

I find Hammerhead is best suited as a champion-melter. It practically begs to be used with Actium. I have a Ross Arago with Subsistence and Onslaught, and with a good kinetic DPS fusion, a void Titan can handle nearly any situation. To be candid, I usually swap to Ursa and use Banner Shield during DPS though.

I was lucky enough to get this roll (rampage, desperate measures, appended and arrowhead brake, range MW) on a shiny hammer head and while I was originally chasing killing tally somebody brought up commemoration having a better loading perk and I kinda changed my mind. I use it on void hunter and it feels really good. Definitely suggest it and agree with this take.

Got this philosophy with weapon rolls from Coolguy: look for what a weapon does unique to itself. Hammerhead ain't Commemoration and Commemoration does a lot of things better (mag size, autoreloading). What Hammerhead does unique is double damage perks or FTTC which gives free ammo from thin air, and you keep it for that. Have a shiny with FTTC/Rampage and Tap/Desperate Measures. Would love a better 4th column, but I'm happy w this.

Rampage + onslaught + actium is a great combo

FTTC and Killing Tally Curated rolls saved my bacon so many times lol. The slower ROF actually helps as it turns your Hammerhead into a hard hitting scout rifle. And getting 2 free rounds back consistently never hurts!

Out of Contraverse, Nothing Manacles, Verity Brow, and Nezaracs Sin + Graviton + Scatter nades, I like Nez Sin the best. Scatter is much faster than Vortex, you can throw way more and faster

Just checked my inventory because of this vid Had about 15 saved Next to last one had rampage, desperate measures, with the much needed appended mag, and a reload speed masterwork My choice was either corkscrew or extended And I went with corkscrew for +5 in range, stability, and handling So fluted barrel was all I was missing really Pretty close imo Thanks, this is why I keep rolls

i have a roll nobody talks about, Killing Tally, Under-Over, Armor Piercing Rounds. what does this mean ? you need a few minor kills anyway to prog killing tally but with the minors are always shielded enemeys and with this roll i go through them like a hot knife through butter. for everything else i have my commemoration if i need higher capacity or consistency. if you haven't a craftet commemoration, hammerhead is the way to go. so many good combinations possible

Rampage and desperate measures thank you!!! Every single content creator is saying desperate measures is pointless because of killing tally. Using two separate weapons with desperate measures almost guaranteed a minimun of 10% damage buff at all times and it's so easy to get 3 stacks. im going fir reload MW and flared magwell for the fastest reload possible.

I get the whole "optimal roll" but the gun is fine with envious + onslaught or whatever other combination of reload and damage perk.

As a hunter main I just kept my first gold drop because I might run warlock eventually.

i got lucky with a shiny envious assassin, rewind rounds, killing tally I stack up envious to max then switch to rewind rounds and get to use killing tally endlessly at max stacks for hundreds of rounds

I LITERALLY USE THIS ROLL AND EVERYONE CLOWNS ME FOR IT LMFAO ! They have no idea what it does … this separates who has common sense and who does not ! Unless you're playing end game content, Machine Guns are perfectly fine for DPS. D2 players forget less than 15% of the player base ever touched a raid.

I think rampage + killing tally is super overrated because there is no synergy for killing tally. Desperate measures sounds so much better

her aparent or thiunderlord is worthy only when you can somehow use other GOLDEN gns.. i do delirium 21%/ retrofit and one more i cant reember from europa dlc. but wqell they are all contain rampage what basicly perfect for clear and buff on mobs and then finish mag on boss/yelojackets.. so that statement is kinda wrong.. not even cerberus or silversurfer autorifle can outDPS thsi combination.. of heavy perks + they dmg output.. ( and ya ima trinity moneky with 20K kls on that bow) but on high HP enemy places as legendary lost sectors.. is best way to output some substantial dmg output.. after stun or break a shild.. specialy to overloads.-.

While DM is good, it feels like you're just recommending DM to be "different" than the other content creators. The fact that killing tally requires less hoops to jump through to achieve the same damage as DMx3 (i.e. ability kills) without a timer (albeit DM's x3 7 second timer can be refreshed by gun kills) makes killing tally leaps ahead of DM in terms of ease of use and damage uptime.

So, I just checked to see if I had a decent hammerhead.. I have a shiny one with: chambered/fluted, ricochet, rampage/4th times, desperate measures/killing tally and a handling MW So, that's close to the best of the best basically, yeah? probably a range or stability MW would be better

I have learned more about this game and what builds and rolls to look for in the last month of being subbed than I did in the prior 4 years combined from the rest of the community. So yeah, after spending the week hunting for an Envious/Killing Tally roll because someone told me it was the best roll, I will instead use my Rampage/Killing Tally roll until I get that Rampage/Desperate Measures roll.

I havent gotten any good hammerheads yet, but gonna focus on blast furnace next and save hammerhead for later. Sad this cant be a dps weapon. On titan i just love AWR and one day i want to make an AWR build with each element plus sweet business. I only have one for solar(abyss plus either xenophage or heir apparent) and arc (sweet sorrow and grand overture) and was hoping to make a void one with my onslaught sub ros plus this. If only that void lgm exotic was good... Hopefully it gets buffed in final shape to be a good support weapon even for raid dps. I guess ill figure out a solid seeet business AWR build in the mean time.

So you’re trying to make you long distance relationship even longer?!? Smart man… you didn’t even have to get married to understand this! J/K J/K. Married life and a family is great. For real on the Destiny front. How come pretty much none of the content creators suggest Enhanced Subsistence on Commemoration. IMO it feels far better than Reconstruction even in power delta content. You never need to reload or stow if you have the ammo because even in end game it only takes a couple bullets to kill trash. Then it can still do good against tankier reds and lower tier yellows and refund a decent part of your mag on kill. The only time Reconstruction is better is if you have 3 trash and then you can have that oversized mag if you had a REALLY tanky yellow that might need more than 73 bullets (but I dont think they even need that many).

At 3:52 in the video it is not worth farming for, but ramapage + killing tally is the god roll you should be keeping an eye out for while farming something else if this drop keep it this guy likes the smell of his own farts so I don't care for him much. If he knows what he is talking about this should be the roll he says, or he is just a tar tar don't listen to him. not finishing the video don't care what he recomends as he is toxic & creators like him & bungie making it free to play ruined the content in the end these are all just suggestions farm what you feel works for you what is a God roll for others may not be for you don't let any of us blow hards tell you otherwise.

MG are the pinnacle of content creation misinformation. Go in any under light activity and really tell me how sunshot compares to an mg on areas with mass amounts of orange bars/mini bosses (like onslaught)
