Oh God!! I had a wooden family album that played that piece of music and I didn't know that it was the Godfather theme song with a guitar.. I was searching for it long years ago as the album music sadly stopped years ago.. I'm really happy now that album is really close to my heart it was my last memory of my dad :(

Very very lovely. I'm a guitarists myself, sitting in bed sick today surfing around youtube watching guitar videos. Somehow I missed yours over the years. Normally I get bored with this song pretty quickly, but your arrangement really built nicely as it went along. I also really loved the tone you captured. I know this is largely your musical gift but some of it is your recording skill as well (not to mention a really nice instrument). Thanks for sharing, you made me smile with your wonderful music.

Just do this in reverse. First the point finger then the middle then the ring. Do it in a slow manner for five days and then try it straight for other five days slow. And then you ll get it.

I got mine from my grandfather. He's a Spaniard and passed down his guitar playing fingers as a gift. If you don't have a Spaniard, Italian, or French grandparent, then you'll just have to train your own, and pass yours down to your newer generations.

Sonny Molinari Mexicans are awesome guitar players. My step dads brother had a guitar some drunk girl sat on and broke, this Mexican guy at his job site repaired it with...duct tape and some kind of plywood and he threw on nylon strings. And it never sounded more beautiful.

youtube has a shit ton of chord videos, and there are a lot of free things online. Don't worry so much about starting in the wrong place, its more important that you stick at it, and keep practising. I didn't have any lessons, and learned for free just from finding things online, without signing up to courses or anything like that. Find what works best for you. Easy starter songs usually only have 3-4 chords. I started out playing hard rock and metal songs though. Free tabs are available on sites such as ultimate-guitar and 911 tabs, etc.

monkofdark123 Thanks, man. I've never played an instrument in my life! I've always loved the guitar from afar, but always felt overwhelmed at the thought of learning everything there is to learn. I don't want to make a fool of myself in buying a guitar and then just having it sit there gathering dust. Even the thought of tuning it correctly sort of puts me off. I do love the guitar though, and appreciate the skill involved in playing it well. It's something that I would really love to learn, I just want to start off on the right footing.

If I can do it, anyone can . . . way I see it, the guitar is sometimes a tool to see how dedicated you are or can be. If you are not dedicated, it will just become a piece of wood with strings that gathers dust instead of something to escape the world with. If it ends up being just something gathering dust, you can always sell it :) So its not so bad my friend. Stores that sell guitars, probably have beginners books which teach you the basics, Chords are pretty easy once the motor in-grams of your fingers are hard wired, along with other techniques. The guitar many times is a case of what you put in, you get out. :)
