Tergrid is a deck that you don't play often, but results in some of the most memorable games you'll have. It's the definition of a rule zero deck and one I need to start handing to people at Commander nights to enjoy trying out. Having the board all chip into a 16-mana Collective Voyage the turn before casting Pox and stealing 23 lands that enter untapped... pure evil feels so good.

I was introduced to Tergrid as an infinite combo burn piece, not the front side. It was a few months after where I finally saw the front side.

I’ve been considering building a Gods Tribal deck using Karona, False God as the Commander. She’s technically an Avatar not a God, but I think she fits the theme even better for that :-P Plus, she’s the closest Dominaria has ever gotten to a God :)

I have a Karona deck it is fantastic. Step 1 play Karona. Step 2 suit her up with shiny impetus. Step 3 watch the carnage as people drop to commander damage

It needs to be “MtG Hilarious and Extremely Enjoyable Banter Girl” as opposed to “MtG Nerd Girl”. The latter does roll off the tongue much better though 🤔🧐

I have fun with Tergrid, in fact i've built around the lantern side and had a blast. Not sure my opponents had as much fun though

For Tergrid copy it with Helm of the host, destroy the one that has helm after you get a token of the Tergrid creature recast it as the other side.

Grumgully the Generous and I shall not suffer this slight against goblinkind!!! On a more related note, Xenagos will always have a special place in my heart, but having a Gruul deck already and being the indecisive goblin I am, I just built WUBRG God tribal, with Jodah at the helm, since all Gods are legendary.

I love Tergrid. I actually run a creatureless deck. I love her. I thinks its very interactive and fun and keeps the game progressing and moving forward. Never understood all of the salt with everything else that goes on in commander.

Show me the gods! I love splashing the occasional god into my decks without it feeling out of place on flavour. I built a Commander deck around Kruphix, God of Horizons that eventually turned into a Kinnan deck.

I really like Athreos, God of Passage. Xenegos is very powerful. Nerd Girl, get two Tegrid cards so you can use the creature and the artifact. I really like Purphoros!!! Hmmm.... maybe Prismatic Bridge would fit in my Kenrith Deck. I like the counter theme. The land cards are mediocre. There are better land cards to use than those Thriving lands that come into play tapped. Thank you Nerd Girl and Veggie Wagon for the video.

There was a secret lair precon with Esika at the helm and that was just a 5/6 power level. (Agreed it can be more busted) Also the best enchantment for commander is sitting over shoulder.

Purphoros is not made for the command zone. It is a double impact tremors meant to go in token creature generation decks. I have him in my Anim Pakal deck. It's not goblins, it's gnomes.

Esika is my favorite god. Bridge is negligible considering the omenpaths are open. So everyone is playing goodstuff now. Don't slot in UB cards and act like goodstuff is a sin. I have yet to meet a player that isn't building with components from across the multiverse. Let's be honest- goodstuff is the standard. I have never seen a single mtg influencer show a card and not mention some broken synergy that goes with it. And to wonder why tergrid is so generally hated. I certainly don't see anyone deck teching here as an equipment commander or a huggy mander either. If everyone is just going to be influenced to go for power then expect things in this game to become unpleasant.
