Wahshī ibn Harb said, “When the Negus died, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to his companions, ‘Your brother the Negus has died, get up to perform the (funeral) prayer for him.’ Then a man said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, how do we perform the (funeral) prayer for him while he died in his denial of the truth (kufr)?’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘Have you not heard Allah’s words And amongst the people of the Book are such who believe in Allah and what He has sent down to you …’” [at-Tabrānī]

Assalamualaikum Sheikh, as you mentioned in your lecture that Nabi Isa Al-Masih will lead his followers from Jerusalem while Al-Mahdi will lead the ummah of Rasulullah Muhammad (SAW).
