Characters like Blanche are so unique, really. She is so vain and self centered, and yet she has always proved to be a true, empathetic and incredibly caring friend.

@@assassintwinat8 Body shapes have changed. By the standards of thirty years ago they were a little over weight. In the 1970s Rhoda Morgenstern on Mary Tyler Moore was considered overweight and by todays standards is not. Obesity is the norm now.
