Tried to hold the stick in my childhood the same like Bobby. And only years ago read in his book that he broke his large finger and it didn't bend - my efforts were invain :-) My all time favourite Canadian hockey player. Respect from Russia

He finished his playing career with the only man to finish with more professional goals scored in major professional hockey. Gordie howe. Interesting fact. Only 2 players to finish their pro careers with more recorded goals then WAYNE Gretzky in pro hockey. Bobby is 2and all time. With 913 goals scored. To Wayne's 894. And Number one Gordie howe finished with over 1000 goals in his career. Which is just incredible. Wow.

From Boston Bobby Hull was an absolute hero. Total love and respect for Bobby. Obviously Bobby Orr was our favorite. #9 was my second favorite. Can't express how incredible he was. Orr,Hull, Howe, Beliveau were in a league above everyone else.

Bobby Orr was a one man penalty kill back in the day. Re-defined what a defenseman could be. Surprised the Bruins didn't win more cups back then? They were quite a good team early & mid '70s.

Ever since Bobby Hull's departure from the Blackhawks, Chicago pro sports wouldn't have it's next "superstar" until Michael Jordan years later.
sooooo goalies did NOT wear masks in the 1950s !!?!?!?

Accused by two wives of physical abuse. Quoted as saying “Hitler had some good ideas”, of which he of course denied but it rings true of his character. He was a legend in his own mind.

@@michaelromandel9022 Bobby Hull and Mickey Mantle were my two idols growing up in the 60s. Both were beloved by the kids. Both had a laugh and smile that could light up Times Square during a blackout. Both had drinking issues. So sad.
