osrs players with membership can play the game with that acccount as long as they havent loaded rs3 with that account

FSW is quite literally a new account, an alt, so why shouldn't you pay for it. People are worried about the main games economy but if everyone and their mother's could play it for free that would definitely impact it. Boosted rates in drops and experience rates. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

I'm at that weird midpoint where I'm spending hours for a single level, and if I want more than a couple mil I need to camp low bosses like Kril or normal mode Glacor for a luck drop. Not to mention I'm garbage at pvm and don't have the time to get better XD. Fresh Start seems like a good way to take a break and focus on the early stuff again. Hell, with the xp rates it could be possible to pass my main, lol.

Would love go start a new account but there is no chance im doing all quests again.

Gonna be my first time playing rs3, so I'm prime example of how it will bring new players (played 1000s of hours on osrs)

If high end gear prices come down after fsw comes to the main servers I'll be happy

The exp rates lower once u hit lvl 80. Not released the exect figures, but id guess x0.10 / x0.25 lower. Progress points r gonna be so useful in the early game, im planning on getting base 50-60 and 100 qp asap. Luck rings r gonna b handy, saves getting the fort comps for LOTD. Boons do not follow onto the main game after FSW, not sure if that was sugessted at first but the latest update states they r deleted when in main game I maxed a normal account years ago and been an ironman since release and not really started again. So will be nice to start again and try the new content

I could be cynical prick because that's what Jagex made me into in last 5 years regarding this game but I am just gonna say that if you actually mean to play this mode here's a tip for you. Since quest xp rewards are not increased I would say do waterfall quest asap and once you done that do dungeoneering and train combat and early crafting/fletching for free in there. Also unlock menaphos and when you need to afk train mining/smithing/divination. Cynical edit: Since you asked no I will not play this game mode, i even canceled my sub to my main and started playing f2p acount because even though I like the game I am not willing to pay jagex my cash or proxy cash via bonds someone bought.

This video just screams at me that you saw all of the hate FSW was getting, felt overwhelmed, and mostly stopped paying attention. There are all kind of clarifying statements that you just don't include and also some of the main problems that people have with the game mode, you just don't bring up. My biggest problem with the game mode, for instance, is that it was sold as a way to bring lapsed players back to the game, but why would people who already have an account want to pay to start a brand-new account rather than using the one that they already have? Even if they don't have much progress from back when they used to play, a username can be a big point of connection and returning players won't even get to use that.

Time is money so this shit isn't for poor people... But yeah if this saved me time and I started with a new account I would use fresh start worlds with real money even if you are broke IRL....

2:28 Literally Only a couple there are only like 2 rewards a average player might be able to get so far, the rest are the same reward just a bit different only for people who come in 1rst in something. ; That said i thought it sounded awesome but then i realized its just a profit ploy, First off double xp means little, Especially since you have to a membership for a new account on top of your membership you already have. & those who transfer one bond because they could afford it, still have to buy it because until the first part of the competition is over no one can buy bonds which still cost money anyway. Just absolutely stupid, If you got the money to throw away sure have fun, but originally they made it sound like everyone was gunna be able to take part. But its just a way to make more money in my opinion. If it was for new players they wouldn't require a new player to yet pay for membership again, Most of the ones who are f2p are some players but mostly bots, which will also be coming.; Achievements no but i bet all the people who play will have better gear than i do & i have played since the original existence of the game. And its only for those who have money i.e. botters, streamers, & upper middle class, Adults (which i am right i have played since i was like 12-15 & i'm 34 now.); idk i think its gunna flop obviously people & botters are going to do it, but not as many as was before you had to shell out a extra 13$/month or 12 months for 87$ for what p2w? Yeah i just bought 12 months which i wasn't going 2 solely because the event. Lets not count the bugs that will prolly cause issues with your main account when you try to transfer them, which btw they still have no clue how they are going to allow the items to be transfered last i knew.

Only thing I see is going wrong is people doing end game bosses, flying through therm with the boons and extra drop chances abs then bringing them over to main game. Rip certain items
