In this clip I introduce Lola, a fearful, insecure pit mix to the treadmill. Her owner had attempted to get her on the treadmill once before and it had ended badly. I demonstrate how to use leash pressure to help the dog acclimate to the treadmill and properly position herself. The struggle and panic that she experiences is short lived, and as you'll see in the video, shortly after the introduction she's walking easily.
