The rhetoric the GOP is using right now sounds a lot like the 4 dog defense used by the tobacco company to win lawsuits. It goes like 1. I don't have a dog 2. If I had a dog, it doesn't bite 3. If I had a dog and it bites, it didn't bite you 4. If I had a dog that bites and it bit you, you provoked it. It's pretty stupid, but it's won the tobacco company a lot of court cases. Don't know if it will work in this context though, but who knows?

Anything taken to the extreme is just cracked. Just because a person is religious, doesn't mean he's moral. ei. Priest who molest kids. Person that say they have morals may not pass the integrity test. There was a social experiment were a person is put in a room with 9 other ppl(actors). Was shown two sticks of different length and ask ea. person in the room if they were similar in length. One by one said yes, until it reach the individual; said 'yes'. Lying is wrong, yet this moral person did it anyway. Either to kiss @$$ or save @$$, I don't know.

as someone who is kinked and out, i wish to clarify that there is a VAST difference between a healthy BDSM relationship and what's going on right now. a good, wholesome, poly, BDSM relationship: four people (the Dominant [the president], a little [representatives], a doormat [the senate], and a slave [we the people]), everyone accepts each other as equally valid (even if not equals in holding power), the Dom is looking out for everyone's well-being, everyone is contributing to the relationship as a whole: the Dom leads the household and is responsible for making sure the bills get paid, the little always has fun stuff for everyone to do and just looks cute while being spanked, the doormat gets pleasure by putting others ahead of herself and takes great pleasure in being the whipping girl because she enjoys it, and the slave is just a workhorse who enjoys taking care of the yardwork, and is happy with the humiliation as long as it's *his* chosen kind of humiliation... and when there is an argument, everyone gets together to solve the greater problem... if someone's limits are violated without their consent, there is a full-stop until things are made better... and if someone wants to leave, well, that would be really sad, but they are free to go if that's what would really make them happy. this is four people (the Dominant, a little and a doormat, and a slave), with the Dom having a powertrip and demanding everyone working 25 hour days, 8 days a week, while he expects everyone's bank account info and mocking everyone because they have to pay HIS overdraft fees on his maxxed-out credit cards (while letting your own fall behind on your own bills). the little challenges the Dom's terrible ideas (as he dismisses her as not being a little, but actually a brat and trying to Top from the bottom, and says that she deserves the black eye he gave her), while the doormat would be perfectly happy being maimed as long as the Dom smiled at her and keeps feeding her coke addiction... and the slave is kept in a cage or shackled in the basement... mind you, the slave never wanted to be here, and has no ability to call the police. ...this is, in no way, a BDSM relationship. this is abuse... and we the people have no ability to call the police.

Tragoudistros.MPH The disrespect Trump has shown to congress was listed as an impeachable offense in the Andrew Johnson impeachment. I believe Offenses 10 and 11 both had to do with bad and insulting behavior to congress and attempting to curtail their powers. I'm sure that isn't the exact wording, but you get the idea.
