To escape the police in his village, Aimé, a Senegalese man in his thirties, arrives clandestinely in France. Without a friend and without a penny in his pocket, this young guy, cunning and trickster, does not
can only rely on himself to get by. Looking for a hideout and something to earn a little
money, Aimé seizes the opportunity to pass himself off as a priest. This imposture leads him to
Saint Vincent parish, in the heart of a public housing estate.

There, he discovered poverty even worse than that he had known up until then in his country. Not material misery, but human misery.
The loneliness and isolation of retirees, violence, individualism and the lack of dialogue between
old and young will open their eyes to what the Western model has become. It will oscillate
permanence between his role as priest and his nature as a trickster, shared between personal interest and
compassion. His role as priest, which was initially only a ploy to “enrich himself”, will
gain the upper hand over himself. He will fall into his own trap by giving hope to the most
isolated, to the most deprived who will count on him.
