The Gospel of Mark Chapter 6: With Dr. Craig Keener
In this episode, Dr. Craig Keener unpacks chapter 6 of the gospel of Mark. We spend a good chunk of time dissing the beheading of John the Baptist. Why was Herrod called King when he historically was not, why does his daughter ask for John the Baptist head, and is there parallels with Jezebel's threats to Elijah and John the Baptist coming in the Spirit of Elijah? Additionally, we discuss the rejection of Christ's ministry in his hometown, along with the disciple's bewilderment of Jesus walking on water.

Dr keener was saying that because they don’t believe they would likely just think of it like magic not a miracle from God, but some type of demonic activity
