I’ve been obsessed with the goths lately. Currently doing a “project” where I build them a house in every world. Some are modern, some are Victorian, some are dated, all are goth though, lol. It’s been a lot of fun.

I always say, the Goth's manor should be gothic, sophisticated, quirky, VERY dark academia-ish, without being vampiric and goulish. So I LOVED that one!! I'm obssessed with them and their lore and this definitely made them justice ❤

This is possibly my favorite Goth Mansion redux I’ve ever seen. I love that you chose the French Second Empire style for the main form of the house. It’s my favorite architectural style, as well as a being the classic “spooky house” archetype in 20th century pop-culture. Beautiful execution of the proportions here, especially the Mansard Roof.

I wish the sims team build these kind of houses! this is SUCH a perfect house for the goth family!! I know they have a lot of build restrictions and can't build like this but stil.... love this!

I LOVE THE EXTERIOR. The shape and everything gives grand manor, late 1800s feelings. Gothic mansion but with its scary quirky feeling. And very well taken care of.

Oh, I just love it! I currently have the Goths living in a recreated Sims 2 house (because lore) and the house is supposed to be, just as you said, passed down through generations. I even upgraded all the appliances. But I knew you’ll come up with something amazing… surely I can move them and we can pretend that was the house all along.. right? You know, when you put up that poll, I had just started rebuilding their house. Although this style and these colours are not my forte and although it's extremely hard to find matching swatches and objects that go together well in this style without looking tacky or "out there" - as you accurately phrased it, I was actually pleased with my progress. I also deviated from the antiquated look a little bit and added some modern furniture and thought this worked well overall. But as soon as I knew you were working on this as well, it was clear to me that your version would far surpass everything I could hope to achieve with mine. So this is the first time that watching one of your videos was actually bittersweet for me. I think I'll still finish my version, just to complete my little project, and then go play with yours. 😂 Please don't feel bad for me; I know I'm not a building genius (although I have a few fleeting moments of inspiration here and there) but I still enjoy building to relax, so it's worthwhile. I'm extremely happy that you share your brilliance with us and I love your version of the Goth mansion! Now I'm really curious to see the modern version ... 😁

Do you think its possible to add a plant/garden room anywhere in the plot if so where do you think the best place for it to be I kinda think bella would be like morticia and like gardening!

Just a lore thing: the goths are a technofobic family, so they wouldn't have computers and televisions around their house. They don't have it even in sims 4.
