What a beautiful house. In such great shape and so well maintained. In a few years time is everything going to look the same? It’s sad and wrong to me that it seems greedy developers control so much and such a waste that classic well built homes are just bulldozed away. So many nice features including the staircase the fireplaces the mint condition bathrooms some of the light fixtures the basement and bar not to mention the pool. Does anyone ever get a chance to buy these houses or are they so outbid by developers that they couldn’t if they tried. Thanks Ethan for sharing this great house. Take care be well and stay safe.

Wouldnt it be nice if the Government took some of these abandoned homes and donated them to Habitat for Humanity. You could get volunteers to do repairs and use them as rentals.

The living room is usually the room by the front door. Family room is the room with the fireplace. Guests should see living room and dining room only 😊

Parquet flooring is glued down. The newer wood floors are tongue and Grove. Parquet flooring has a history of coming loose or coming apart. At least all the houses I was in growing up that has parquet.

Great home! Beautiful and I LOVE the big kitchen! I've noticed a lot of these types of homes have a smaller kitchen! This home is perfect! And the bar is awesome! I can just imagine the parties and fun they had there! Music blasting with people laughing and dancing! ❤

A very nice house and it's a shame it's to be demolished. Usually I would say the family room is right off the kitchen and living room is off the dining room. Living room is also generally more formal. 😊
