Quietly and seemingly out of sight, governments, private investors and mercenaries are working to seize food and water resources at the expense of entire populations. These groups are establishing themselves as the new OPEC, where the future world powers will be those who control not oil, but food. And it's all beginning to bubble to the surface in real time. Global food prices have hit an all-time high, threatening chaos and violence. Meanwhile China, Russia, the UAE and Wall Street are just a few of the players strategizing within this shocking, shifting geopolitical landscape.
THE GRAB is a global thriller combining hard-hitting journalism from The Center for Investigative Reporting with the compelling character-driven storytelling of director Gabriela Cowperthwaite, taking you around the globe to reveal one of the world’s biggest and least known threats.
Directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite

My relatives have family farms in the Midwest. At the land auctions, foreign buyers don't have a bid ceiling. Prices might reach 10x what was expected. And then other farmers will approach the foreign bidder, and they'll happily buy their land, too, at the same price per acre. All the land they can get. Many of these generational farmers are cashing out and becoming 8-figure millionaires.

@vancouverbill
@vancouverbill 2 ай бұрын
Woke has just become a convenient way to belittle someone who has politics which people find at all progressive
@CherubCow
@CherubCow Ай бұрын
@@vancouverbill "Woke" is specifically the slave revolt in morality (slave morality). This is true today and was true at its inception. The idea behind a slave revolt is to make people "aware" of ("woke" to) their "oppression" (in Marxism's modified slave-morality language in Critical Theory, this is to have "critical consciousness"), which places them into the Master-slave dialectic (a false dichotomy). This narrows their mental framework into a false belief in Master (oppressor/victimizer) and slave (oppressed/victim). The utility of keeping people in this false dichotomy is that the oligarchs controlling the revolt through propaganda can use people who adopt slave morality to attack the falsely named "oppressor" class (e.g., the sovereigns of a target society). Conquering nations and intelligence services have long used this strategy to dis-empower competing nations (e.g., fund the weakest and most resentful people within a society to cause a revolt, thus allowing for the installation of puppet governments). In the case of sustainability governance and its connection to the current "woke", this is the funding of a global slave revolt. Sustainability divides the globe between the Western "oppressor" (the "Global North") and the Eastern "oppressed" (the "Global South"). The idea is to get "woke" Westerners to dismantle their own civilization on behalf of the "Global South" (most largely BRICS+, its primary actors being China, Russia, India, and Saudi Arabia and its puppet nations being across Africa and the ME). This works by encouraging the "woke" to purchase "sustainable" technology (e.g., solar, wind, EV batteries) which is all dependent on African rare-earth mineral mining owned and operated by China's belt-and-road resource monopoly. BRICS+ pollutes unregulated across Africa, the East, and the ME; uses oil, gas, and nuclear to expand this BRICS+ market while discouraging the same oil, gas, and nuclear options in the West; and sells the West "green" (i.e., green-washed) goods. In other words, "sustainable" technology is falsely named "green" to encourage "woke" Westerners to purchase into Chinese and BRICS+ markets. Sustainability governance in the West is rated most highly by sustainability rating agencies when it is dependent on supply chains which benefit the "Global South". At the level of propaganda, this convinces "woke" Westerners that "sustainable"="good", but attached to "sustainability" are specific corporate and government requirements to buy certain materials and take part in certain cultural practices which directly benefit BRICS+ expansion. Examples: • "Woke" Westerners are encouraged to dismantle beef production in the West because it is "green" to do so, but this shortsighted error merely allows BRICS+ to expand land rights in the West (i.e., BRICS+ purchases and misappropriates these lands) while removing Western food security to increase the West's reliance on BRICS+. • "Woke" Westerners are encouraged to "think globally" and consider Western economic activity in the "Global South" to be a means of addressing "global inequity". This propaganda teaches the "woke" to support the "oppressed" people of BRICS+, whereas actually this just gives power to BRICS+ oligarchs and Western subversives. • "Woke" Westerners are encouraged to see mass-migration to the West as a positive within society since it lifts up the "Global South", but in reality this reduces the power of Western voters and clears Global South nations of people who were not contributing to BRICS+ infrastructure. • "Woke" Westerners help BRICS+ infiltrators to dismantle oil, gas, and nuclear in the West, becoming less energy independent as they need Chinese-produced solar panels and Chinese-produced vertical farming infrastructure. Much of the "circular economy" is a lie due to it falling under this sustainability framework. It is infiltrated by the manufacturing sectors which must supply the BRICS+ materials for it to exist. The "woke" Westerner is filled with visions of farmer's markets and stacks of crops in a "vibrant" city-center, but the unseen hand of the market is total market dominance by foreign powers via subsidies and taxes who use these false visions to secure resource monopolies and enslave competitors around the globe.

The craziest thing about this is people this comes at a surprise to people when we've known about climate change and running out of fresh water for 40 plus years and countries doing this would be a natural progression wouldn't it? Then you have these people walking around having many children either knowing they'll have to deal with these problems and suffer or they're just ignorant...they don't really love their children theyre just using them for their own self gratification and I don't know which is worse if they're just ignorant or just don't care there's too many people and we take up too much space and resources. Humans and domesticated animals account for 96% of all animals on Earth's surface

No, the issue is humans wanting to play God and being of self. God says to be fruitful and multiply. Man does not get to change that because of greed. God made enough for everyone, and nowhere in the Bible does he give a population limit. What is sad is that you can do all of the prepping you want , but if you are not taught, a believer, a repenter, baptized, added to his church God, and faithful til death you will perish and so will your prepped items. We are in these treacherous times because of sin and the Revelations.
