I love seeing how you WIPs from last year are looking so far this year. Each season is like unwrapping a new gift seeing how everything is maturing, isn't it? This year I'm trying my hand at growing annuals from seed for the first time. I've been a little overprotective of the little babies and learning how resilient plants can be, or so fragile. I love all the varieties of roses you grow. I'm the kind of person who would have just about every variety if I could.

I’ve been wait for the grand rose garden tour….never disappoints. I, too, have ordered roses from Amazon, all have arrived healthy and are now thriving in my front garden. That rose in the front yard that was already there when you arrived looks like a rosa woodsii, a wild, very hardy rose

Love your garden. The Olivia rose Austin by the trellis has black spots . It needs spaying elsewhere will loose it’s leaves and the plant will weaken

Greeting's from Ireland, Great video and a beautiful garden, We have one very old peony rose no thorns great we get along. My mother is eighty seven and she has lots of the thorny ones which are dangerous. I call down every weekend to do jobs around her flower beds, when I weed around them they get me every time, there have been times where I thought I would end up in A&E. My mother tells me to wear gloves but I've never worn gloves when I garden so I get what I deserve.

Your Ancient Mariner is stunning. Here in Florida mine is an extremely stingy bloomer. Mine in 2 years old hadn't given me even 10 blooms. It looks more like Heritage. I'm thinking about giving mine away. My yard is tiny so I need good bloomers.

I gotta really agree with you on the Sweet Mademoiselle rose. She's a real beauty and such a vigorous grower. I love her so much, one of my best performers!!!! I seen another girl on KZfaq, she was feeding her roses the Max Sea by sprinkling around the plant, just as you did. I thought of trying this but I got scared, I wasn't sure how much to give each plant. But dang, after seeing yours. I need to try this. How much do you use for 1 bush??? You have the most beautiful roses!! I ran out of labels for my roses so decided that I have to be done ordering roses this year, ha ha! I only started planting roses last year and now up to 30 roses. My question is, do you have any issues with disease if they are planted too close together? In my new rose bed, some are 24" apart but some are 15" apart.
