Derrick and Shawnasi How Beautiful and Magnificent!! Only our awesome God and Creator could make something so beautiful!! You are right. What a wonderful tribute to our Great God and Savior. The Creation declares His Glory. This scenery was absolutely stunning. I bet it was even much more grand and stunning seeing it on person. Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm so glad that you were able to have and enjoy this adventure together. Throughly enjoyed this video and scenery. God bless you both.

Used to drive across Wyoming on I80 from time to time and it's like you are on a high plateau after coming out of Nebraska. Saw alot of pronghorns grazing back then over 20 years ago. They have smaller horns than a deer and appeared a little smaller . They are said to be one of the fastest animals on the planet.
@NCMemoryMakers19 күн бұрын
Yes, I've heard they are very fast. We saw lots of them in New Mexico, just south of the Colorado border, on a past trip. She saw a couple this time, but I didn't see them.

You must see the chapel of the transfiguration while you're there. You can go inside and get a view of the Tetons from within the church building. It is amazing. And see Swabacher's Landing, Jenny Lake, Signal Mountain. God bless and enjoy your trip!

The Tetons are amazing. We were there in 2018. The church of the transfiguration is beautiful as well. Yellowstone is also amazing as it has wildlife, canyons, geysers and scenery. Hopefully you're doing Glacier as well. Going to the Sun Rd. is a challenging ride but we'll worth it. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, it doesn't seem real,its so beautiful. Steve,my husband and I just talked about possibly taking a trip out there once he retires...we have never been in Colorado, or Wyoming. Would love the opportunity to explore these beautiful National Parks. Shawnasi your mother was very talented, that was a beautiful painting she did. So happy to see y'all enjoying your western adventures. Looking forward to Yellowstone and Rocky Mountains Parks. Can you please share how much time you would recommend in each area and any accommodations you would recommend. Will take time to plan and save for this adventure. Much appreciated.

We appreciate you and your husband watching, and we would highly recommend seeing this area. In our Yellowstone video, which should be up around noon tomorrow, we mention that we would recommend a minimum of 2 full days, and preferably 3 days, if possible. Rocky Mountain and Grand Teton, can both be enjoyed in a day, but Yellowstone is huge, with lots of various sights to see. Thank you for the words about Shawnasi's mother. Her mother truly did have a talent.

The entire Park is free if you enter from the North. You pay a fee to enter Yellowstone but you can continue South to Teton for free which is what we did. Only people coming up from Jackson have to pay for Grand Teton. We were there last week and spent a few days in Yellowstone then moved South to Grand Teton for a few days.
@NCMemoryMakers18 күн бұрын
But you would still have to pay, in order to see the inner loop, such as Jenny Lake, would you not? Because the way we went, there was the gate to pay at Grand Teton (Moran Junction), and also the gate to pay as you enter Yellowstone from the south.
@tomgle17 күн бұрын
@@NCMemoryMakers No, there is no pay gate at the North end going South. Makes no difference to us because we have a lifetime pass. We stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge but had to drive down to the Jenny Lake Visitors Center to get a map since we didn't encounter a gate where they give out the maps. When we left after 3 days we did pass through a gate going North into Yellowstone but at 6:30 AM the gate was up, the booth was empty and a sign on the window said ""proceed"". We had to catch a plane in Boseman so it was an early morning drive.
@NCMemoryMakers17 күн бұрын
Thank you for the info. That's interesting, I'm going to have to go back and watch the videos again myself. Because we were coming north out of Jackson on 191, and I would have sworn that after about 20 miles or so, we came to where you have to pay. And I know we came to another pay gate as we entered Yellowstone from the south. Unless we turned on another road in the Tetons. I did not know you could access the Jenny Lake area without going through that gate. If you watched our Teton video, you see where we were at the gate, and it was sort of raining. How could we have avoided that?
@tomgle17 күн бұрын
@@NCMemoryMakers Yes, that is correct. A gate going North out of Jackson and a gate going North into Yellowstone. We went South from Yellowstone into Grand Teton and stayed in Grand Teton at Jackson Lake Lodge. There is no gate in this direction. We did not go all the way to Jackson.

Yes, but the water also needs to be calm, and the wind was really churning it up that day. As well as the numerous clouds in the area, which would also have prevented us from getting the reflection on the water.
