When you crossed the aqueduct at Cosgrove you were going over the Great Ouse where you spent the winter.

Great on the locks will using the ropes to pull the boat out I do that as like you shut the gate as you clear the stern Funny how the blimin left gate opens in sympathy 😮 if you wanted it they stay closed !! Great films Will 😊

if you ever get up Marple way, there is a horse tunnel there, lovely place Marple, I think you would like it there, great views.

You don't often see a boat with lee boards on the canals, but there's one at 18:23. In fact, I think the only canal on which I've see lee boards is the Forth & Clyde. They're necessary to take a flat bottomed boat out through Bowling Harbour onto the Firth of Clyde, which gets very big from there on down. I don't know how often that's done, but you do see a few boats with lee boards.
