As the third GBLSS draws to a close, we look back at how much fun it's been and look forward to what's coming next :)
Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the swaps, I hope you had lots of fun creating your squares and enjoyed connecting with kindred souls all over the world.

Thank you so much Hildegard, yes, that's exactly what I wanted to do, it was a lovely way to enjoy them all again, and I have at least two more lots like that to put together - before the next swap starts! :)

Thank you Annie for your video and so lovely to see all those beautiful squares. What amazing stitchers. I may just pluck up the courage to join in next time. I have been helping a friend dog sitting while she has been in hospital so no internet for a week. I have a lot of catch up to do. See you Saturday .

Ah you should give it a go Carol, it's so much fun - just do one or two to start with, so it's not too daunting, see how you get on, you can always do more later. You have until October to gather that courage, then you'll have three whole months to make your squares - go on, you can do it! Look forward to seeing you later today at the live! :) xo

I love how you have "collaborated" with you swap partners on the pages of your book. The time between now and the next swap would be good for me to make a book of the swap squares I've received. 😉

I just get that the address is invalid for the discord group. One of the other links didn’t work either. I think I’ve applied to the FB group ok though. 🤔

HI, sorry you're having a problem with the discord address - I just tried it myself and it works fine, but I've generated a separate one for you to try, which I've added to the description box, so hopefully that will work for you. You will need to sign up to Discord if you haven't already, but it's all free and pretty straightforward, no one's reported any issues with it. The Facebook Page link doesn't work because it's not active right now - it's the FB Group you need though and that should be working fine. I'll pop over now and make sure you've been approved :)

@@artyfartyanniehmmm just tried the alternative one and it’s the same. You have been invited to join the Discord group. When I click join a box comes up with Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid. 🤔

How frustrating! I think this can be a problem with Safari if you don't already have Discord installed - please try downloading and installing the Discord app on whatever device you're using (should be ok on PC/tablet/phone) and try again - in fact if you open the app, you can paste the invite link in directly. Hopefully we'll see you there - let me know if you use a different username as I won't recognise you otherwise :D
