"The Great Blues of the Golden Gate" documents the 2021 breeding season of the Great Blue Heron colony at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

Unfortunately, a large part of the tree being used by the herons broke off over last winter eliminating some of the old nests. The two trees on the island are being taken over by invasive ivy.
