Simply no... once they put a price on the care of elderly and disabled people greed followed very quickly... The owners of such companies grow very rich while there clients receive less and less in return...

I agree with a lot of what is being said. Our NHS IS broken and needs some kind of HUGE overhaul to sort it out.

Crisis after crisis what on earth has the government and local government been doing with our money? Why are we SLWAYS in a crisis? I’m fifty and I can never remember NOT being in a crisis! Meanwhile the rich get richer maybe all those new billionaires should stop hoarding all the money and put some back into the system or get rid of the banking system because something needs to change

Very frustrating still that the debate considers care coming from families because it doesn't recognise the specialised skills which are involved and are needed. Families may love their relatives, but they certainly are not all trained in dementia care, and other prevailing illnesses. In many cases, families trying to desperately hold on end up exasperating cognitive issues as they have a desire to see their loved ones be like the people that raised them - this causes too much tension to be useful. If these required skills were recognised more, we wouldn't be doing this. When looking for a mortgage we don't ask family members to become solicitors, we seek specialist advice, and the same is required for those who need care.

@@maskedavenger2578 Who said anything about taxing those people more? I see now how the comment has been misinterpreted. My bad. But, I was refering to those whose evade tax. I was saying they should be pursued for that.

@@justsomeone64If people can find loopholes to avoid paying too much or any tax they will ,it’s human nature . This is even more evident when they see governments wasting taxes subsidising unproductive malingerers with low aims in life .

@@justsomeone64 Who is going to pursue them ,& even if people try ,they will invest elsewhere or stash there money where it can’t be got at . As long as there are two humans on this planet ,there will always be one who believes they are more deserving & entitled to a bigger share ,& war . It’s natural self preservation & human nature . Money is power & opens the doors for those who have it & closes the doors to those who don’t .
