The “Great Horns” of Great River including the Cannon Ball. 6/7/24

Ай бұрынWe capture five trains within an hour at the Great River station on the Montauk Branch.  All five trains have absolutely incredible horns. If I have my way, you will never hear a bad horn on this railroad again. I can make it happen. 😁😁. The Cannon Ball was about as impressive as you can get this evening!!!!! I enjoyed my dinner afterwards!!!

I heard the cannonball from my house at 5:30 this afternoon. It passed my house at 5:33.

I got to see the Cannonball pass through my home station of Merrick back in July last year. It was really cool, and I was pretty excited about it.

I try to manufacture some sound deviations, and I try to synchronize the sound to the scene which makes it almost seem like live audio.

Why… are you dubbing over the cab cars with audio from other trains?? I know the C3 horns aren’t the best but the point of a train video is to actually *hear* the train.

What’s wrong with having a vivid imagination? 99 9/10% of the time you will hear real audio. If I have to record a cab car, I want to make it sound good. Some of my viewers think the sound is real. You’ve been creative on some of your videos. Why can’t I?😁

Yeah but when the point of the train video is actually *hearing* the train, the value of the footage is lost. I understand that your entire channel is based around train horns but why force the rest of us to comply with your standards?
