I think the first clue that the circumcision party was a little off was the fact they were chasing you with a pair of scissors saying if you don't snip it off then you aren't loving your neighbor. The Apostle Paul told them to go the whole way and sadly today's modern circumcision party think that's a good idea. That woke feminist pastor teaches Paul's suggestion to the gospels enemies as the command of Christ along with wearing a mask. I'm sure that the Woke feminist pastor said it's good not to spread your white germs or white baby making stuff.

When I first moved to 'merica from El Salvador, I went to work on an after-school program in San Francisco. In an exercise to “prove” white privilege, they would say statements, and if applicable, you will move forward one step. Well, I was more privileged than the one white male in the group. Why? My parents are together, brought me up in love, (and trained in Christ), I had a scholarship and got a BA and moved to a different country, all in Jesus' account. Yes, my privilege is God's presence in my family and in me. I am privileged because I am blessed.

Try going looking at any secular cosmology science Channel here on KZfaq. If you just scroll the comments a bit you're bound to bump into those Christians in the second category arguing the Christian cause when they haven't a clue what they're talking about. It's no wonder the world sees us as illogical, anti-science, nut jobs when we even mention the name of Christ anymore. We need whoever we can get for the battle, yes, but we also need those on our side fighting in the battles they understand. It does us no good to further create a disconnect between us and a world that already believes we are uneducated fools.

I left the protestant church (former Militant Atheist) for the Orthodox church for several reasons...this is one of them. Truth is truth. This professes the Truth, therefore I fully support it.

The average eastern Orthodox in the US (and also in my country) is very liberal and the Greek Orthodox laity are close 2nd to the Roman Catholics in regards to embracing and applauding the worldly agenda (supporting gay marriage etc.). Biblically illiterate and cultural Christians. Pew research numbers look disastrous. It’s not the big savior as it is made out to be online by converts. Protestant converts to Orthodoxy are usually the most biblically literate people of the Eastern Orthodox laity in my experience (because they usually have learned with/ from evangelical theological, scholarly resources before they got obsessed with the writings of the church fathers and started laughing at uneducated evangelical laity that is most likely still more biblically literate than the average Eastern Orthodox). There are more true believers per capita in California than in Russia where there are more atheists than in most western countries. Vast majority of people there are only cultural Christians. I don’t see the fruit. The US had amazing fruit under evangelicalism. People all over the world like me (I’m not American) benefited and profited. Great biblical education and scholarly work for the laity. Worldwide evangelism and saving millions of people in recent history, not just cultural “Christians” who don’t even believe in God like in Eastern Europe but the laity with real faith reading their Bible. Outside of very the small and faithful remnant in the EO and churches full of converts in the US etc. there is not much positive going on where the majority of their laity lives. No real revival in Russia or the east (it’s growing as an institution) but not more people are becoming actual Christians meaning followers of Christ and the numbers in regards to believe in the Christian God are dire even worse than the west).

Words can't mean whatever folks want them to mean. They mean what they mean, and that is all. A spotted leopard isn't racist because of the spots, and a lion's mane doesn't make him xenophobic. Those are non-sequiturs by definition. And a lion can't "repent" on behalf of his forebears for the manes they grew, and essentially confess that those forebears weren't lions after all. It's both absurd and sinful to do so. Because lying is wrong. Besides, the lion doesn't know his forebears. How can he judge them? If we say the RL Dabney (et al) was an apostate heretic by virtue of some nebulous definition of racism, we might as well start calling lions giraffes. Anything goes, at that point. And church discipline becomes a thing based-on the emotional whims of a handful of timid pretenders.
