What parts of it turned you off the show?

I loved X-Men evolutions. Of the tv shows for X-Men I feel like the characters were best done in that show and the animation is fantastic.

Snorlaxation I can’t speak for them, but I guess for me it’s the same thing as usual. The 05 are completely different ages and don’t really have a good connection with each other. They’re the core of X-Men so when that’s not executed right I instantly turn off. Especially because it’s usually to make way for Rogue, Wolverine (and even though she’s 05) Jean hyperfocus. And even if that didn’t bother me, Bobby (one of the original X-Men) was actually written out of the main group of kids for Spyke, only for Spyke to kinda fizzle out of the main group. You’ll notice they sort of tried to bring Bobby in more towards the end, but they didn’t establish him well enough at the beginning for that to work.

@@Kat-yv1yq So I take it you have never enjoyed a single X-Men movie or tv show in your life? The original 5 are almost never together as a team. X-Men evolution had 1 episode of it, X-Men animated and Wolverine and the X-men only showed it in flashbacks. And in the films the original 5 are only present in X-Men last stand. As well I am not hearing a lot of complaint that Angel (an original member) is never used as a major character in tv or movies. Wolverine and the xmen being the only one where he was a major character.

@@Kat-yv1yq As for bringing Bobby in, X-Men Evolution had him present since the start of the second season and he grew up over the three seasons before becoming the equivalent of a main character in the xmen. The only other animated series to have him as a main character was Wolverine and the Xmen.

@@captcrais101 How is that dropping the ball? Does it really ruin the character? Not really. It is not like his one defining trait was that he loved women. And if all it takes to ruin him is giving him a different love interest then there is really not much character there to ruin.

@@kolins.4356 Well at least during the 90s comic and 2000s comic there were questions and discussion about his sexuality especially with all of the failed relationship he has, I've heard from somewhere that they wanted him to come out of the closet in the 90s and canceled it but I haven't looked up for resources for that yet But either ways him being attracted to guys would make sense with all of his past failed relationship and the fact that he had never ever been shown or even canonically mentioned that he have slept with any of his female partners so there's that to go off on as well My only issue with this however is the way that the writers have him come out as gay. It was a really stupid way and I believe it could've been a more slower and meaningful character development arc for him and that they should've just add it into his solo comic instead of having him so prematurely outed by Jean

Rictor, prodigy, North Star and shatterstar are gay characters that make more sense and could have been expanded upon. They didn’t tip toe around their sexuality to have readers confused. Icemans coming out as gay didnt make any sense to me and it still doesn’t. Sina grace and his run on iceman was cringeworthy.
