I'm a realist too. There are good nonmutants that accept us and some that will as soon as they see the good. Neither side is superior and your actions are increasing mutant phobia and mutant hatred and increase the number of nonmutants attacking, torturing, and being cruel to mutants. There are better ways to fight for and protect the rights of mutants.

Then, he got fleshed out and developed, primarily by Chris Claremont, who turned him into the fascinating character he is today. Xavier simply wanted mutants to be respected, while Magneto explained he sought out dignity for all mutants. The both consider some form of compromise, but surrender to the fact that they represent opposing extremes and hope the future generations can accomplish what they can. Deep stuff.

X Men Evolution imo is the best incarnation of the X Men outside the comics. Every single character, hero and villain alike, got a chance to shine. The writting, animation, and action was perfect. Characters like Avalanche, Toad, Storm, and Wanda got some nice character development, while Jean, Scott (personnal favourite btw), Kitty, Logan, and Kurt were so badass and awesome. God, i hate how it got replaced for that crappy wolverine and the x men show...

I think it's just nostalgia influencing them. I mean I love TAS but I have to admit it's very dated and has quite a few flaws.

Believe it or not on Wolverine and the X-Men Magneto was way worse! Not only he was someone who used violence to defend his own ideas (o.k we can forgive him that) but also he was a despicable hypocrite! He did NOT cared about the Mutants or Xavier. And specifically the moment that I lost all the respect I had for Magneto and I hated him it was when Nightcrawler saw with his own eyes what Genosha was in reality. It may seemed like a paradise but in actuallity it was a huge prison for the Mutants that they didn't want to live on Genosha any longer, or for those who did wanted to stay but they felt unwelcomed by their fellows. Oh and speaking for Xavier I swear to God that the only reason he took cared Xavie it was to tempt the X-Men to come to live on Genosha... in order to imprison all of them immediately and even starting to torture them. Oh and I forgor to mention that he was a terrible father both on Pietro and Wanda.
