I climbed up to Tower #8 on the Great Wall of China. It was so steep. Check out this 3000 year old piece of history that I got to explore with my family
while I was in Beijing China. This section of the wall is also known as Ba Da Ling

Awesome. But man am I glad US national parks and monuments have nothing resembling that loud speaker/advert. Some of those parks and monuments have been some of the most serene and peaceful places in my life, and I couldn't imagine the speaker. Fortunately it didn't ruin it for you though.

The 20-minute video was so absorbing it was over too soon. I'm very glad you were able to bring so many of the family together to both see the historical sites and feel connected to the culture of your ancestors. James you really should be a social studies and geography teacher as I think the kids would really enjoy seeing it from your perspective. I will say the sheer volume of tourists was the human version of the Dan Ryan Expressway at rush hour and thank goodness no one tripped and started rolling or it would look like the world's strangest bowling alley. Such a contrast from the modern Transportation used to get there and then realizing that all of that work was done by hand with minimal equipment. The History Channel with the Personal Touch so thanks for the visit and safe travels

He only will say something cheesy if he’s back home eating a Chicago deep dish pizza. Otherwise I concur completely. :)

Fantastic video! I was amazed at the steepness of the wall up to the eighth tower. I’ve heard it’s swamped with people, far more than most of the Instagram-type shots most often seen. Such a great experience for your kids! I won’t lie though - my favorite part was the high speed train! I love buses and planes but I think high speed rail may be my absolute favorite! Thanks for including the train footage! I hope to see it at some point!

Title should have been: James Wang Get high rock and rolling going to the Great Wall of China. Also, since there's a Great Wall of China, is there a Lesser wall of China as well? This should have given you the idea that Peoria Charter Coach's really old antique bus should be called 'The Great Bus of Peoria'..
