Good video and nice rules refresher for me. I have a 100 games in my collection and consider this one the best design.

I was impressed that Martin won without owning any craftsmen. His cattle income must have come entirely from the Herd and from the bidding round.

Since chat didn't bring it up: Just for completeness, Edward, you can raise your price by talking the craftsman action, you do not necessarily have to buy and place an actual craftsman with it. Also about the VR from placing further craftsmen, the rules state this (as Graeme said): Victory Points. For each craftsman placed, a player advances 1, 2 or 3 points on the victory track as indicated by the number of laurel wreaths on the technology card Thanks for streaming this great game

Discussion at 1:37:50 was mistaken. You DON'T score points for the technology card. You DO score points for each craftsman you place. Paying 10 cattle for a second diamond craftsman would give Ken 3 vp.

Small clarification about Eshu (28:30) which I only know because I played with this god and didn't fully understand it until I read the rules afterwards. (It was someone else's game.) Edward is wrong in saying that the craftsmen still have to have resources within 3 steps. The 'rule of 3' becomes a 'rule of 6' for all purposes during your turn. (The rules say that the 'transportation range' becomes 6.) As pointed out in the rules, this could have a detrimental effect on you placing a craftsman. Maybe, with the 'rule of 6', there are now no resources not already in range of existing craftsmen.

Final auction: Yellow could have not bid because red wouldn't have the 18 cow but you would have the 24 needed to close. And Atete secures the resources needed

Glad you did this one. I had heard of the game before, but now I have a documented example of this. Its really an ugly game and components look super cheap. The gameplay is really not great.
