@@misteridiot123 The fans. Whenever one formula gets old they switch the game up just enough to make it look new. In the case of the newest one, they have nearly removed all stealth mechanics. Anyway, new fans get interested and it gets buzz. Origins did pretty well. Odyssey sold very well. And, Valhalla was the stinker of the bunch. So, if they finish this arc with the next game. The one after that will have an entirely different formula to give a sparkling new paint job to cover up the Oldsmobile underneath.

Honestly the crowning moment of the whole franchise and for Ezio’s story. It’s honestly really a tear-jerking beautiful moment for Ezio, to finally understand what was the purpose of his life. It was never to have his questions answered, nor have him see to the end of the Assassin-Templar conflict. It was merely to show and guide someone, someone who has been with him since his birth. He finally understands who this “Desmond” was - someone who was watching his life from the future. He doesn’t question how, but only understands that is what is happening. His whole life, he was just a messenger, to pass the torch unto Desmond. At this moment, he isn’t angry. He isn’t upset by this revelation. He only accepts it with grace and humility. He just decides that he has done his part in the grand scheme of things. He has shown Desmond all he needed to know, even if he personally doesn’t know exactly what it was. At this moment, he will now retire from the Brotherhood, and spend the rest of his life in peace with his new love, Sofia.

The touching emotion about this scene was knowing Ezio realising that he was only just a messenger for a message he knew nothing about. He played his role perfectly, he knew and understood what he had to do even if his role was as little as just being a conduit to deliver a message. Honestly W character

Ive always loved this moment. It always felt like the genuine conclusion to demonds and Ezio’s story. Obviously there’s a whole other assassin to explore before we actually get that subpar conclusion, but I do like that ezio and Desmond after all this time got a moment together. It’s like the mentor and the apprentice speaking but they’re centuries apart.

Literally the only reason he's the best is because of his trilogy, give other assassins an appropriate fleshed out story among 3 games and I'm sure there will be other assassins that are better.

That scene. That scene was so profound. As you think on it you realize there is a time to pursue knowledge and adventure and look for answers. And there is a time to rest. To accept a question mark where you desperately would like an answer. You don’t need an answer to all your questions. Sometimes you need to accept they may not be yours to know and let go.
