If you can tap into children's interests, you will find much greater success with fine motor activities. In the video I demonstrate possibly the greatest fine motor activity ever...playdough football!
With just a lump of dough, some craft-sticks, and a few other simple props, you can create an activity that children between the ages of about 3-6 will choose to do for hours and hours.
