i learned the GOAT brad smith, shiftiest player on the whipsnakes, played through an injury at duke and still managed to be a top draft pick

Brad Smith had an awesome rookie season. Everyone was fixed on Ament and Costabile as far as the rookies go (for obvious reasons), but Smith really impressed me. Of course, it helps being on a loaded roster like the Whips have, but he still was a great contributor through the midfield.

Apart from having the most gentlemanly mustache in the league, i learned it's crucial to be intelligent with how you're playing the game. Speed up when possible, slow down as necessary.
