You need King Midas to consistently feed the pirate, and then you run the risk of flooding your board with terrible coins. Still, we persist.

oh man I had the most insane pirate run, swapping device, pirate, and eventually up to 6 midas which was ridiculously op, plus a few arrows and a wild card, and eventually got telescope and it was just insane
