This mod looks like it has a *ton* of replay value. It may be worthy of its own mini-series.

I love how the Transmute synergises with the curse of the bell cards, because it actually changes the curse into a useful card. After all nothing sucks more than a transmute card, but no targets to use it on.

I have been sick all day, miserable. Frost screaming 'DONG!' at the top of his voice gave me so much life and genuinely cured my cold.

The best thing about this mod is that it can be added to forever, literally this mod has the potential to go infinite

The “for the content” has a card that can echo-form ALL cards played, and it stacks by playing the card +1. I got a deck which played every card I played 103 times. Wild.

I know this may seem random, but I think that if you have the cultist mask on you should have a special interaction with any cultist encounter. I am not sure what would be the best Idea for such a feature, but I just think the concept sounds cool. Perhaps it could be something as simple as the cultists don't fight you. Or it could instead have you gain scaling strength for that fight like the effects of the ritual potion, this would be super sick for the Awakened one fight. Speaking of the Awakened one, perhaps it could give you a special relic if you beat the Awakened one with the relic. Something thematic perhaps, like gaining strength each time you use a power. Just a little something that would help with killing the heart after. There is so much potential in this game having more unique interactions between relics and monsters.

Grabbed this mod tonight and it was extremely egregiously pog, having 400 hours and A20 on all base characters this was a breathe of fresh air! Keep cooking frost!

I don't say this much, but you need to hit Ascension 20 with this character. It looks like so much damn fun. An StS miniseries on this would be awesome!

Considering how much you got out of just basic slay the spire, I'm genuinely excited to see you unpack (heh) and delve into this for months.

For anybody looking to play this mod, I heavily recommend custom draft mode at some point for every game you play. Set all 7 to "Random" or "Choose 3" (for a draft-style version). The default mod has you start with a basic pack, 3 random packs, and 3 drafted packs and it can get kind of old seeing the same cards from the basic pack every game. So go all Random or full custom draft or pick one or two specific packs if you're trying to unlock their hat.

This mod is so much fun I had the even/odd and the claw pack and if you get Mutate Claw and Left Hook it’s just a free infinite combo The Mutate claw makes it so you add claw to a card (letting it scale with the rest of the claw cards) and then when you play it you get a ghost claw (a claw that deals less damage exhausts and increase damage of all claw cards by 1) Left hook says that if it’s played as an odd card (so if it’s the 1st 3rd 5th or so on card played) it gets put back in hand So you get to play ghost claws as even cards and left hooks as odd cards and they all cost 0 so it just goes infinite Combine that with all the put on top of deck effects of the core set and it’s not too difficult to get the combo Anyway this was all to say we need frost to play a claw deck

I loved how easy it was to understand this mod. It enhanced the game, it didn't change it like a downfall character (which I still like but downfall is almost a different game) Need more of this frost frost!

With some basic math, they are a total of 109,453,344 different ways to build a deck

Super impressive mod but 1) I feel like it is literally impossible even for the smartest people in the world to balance this character. 2) It's super tiring having to read new card descriptions every run. 3) It's frustrating when you're given packs that don't mesh at all and you feel like your run is just going to suck. At the end of the day what makes Slay the Spire amazing is the elegance of its design and how all of the cards for each character work together and this mod foregoes all of that. With that said I'll totally watch more videos like this 😁

I just played this mod and I also got the Bellord pack. I decided to try to get as many bell curses as possible. I ended up killing the heart with 12 bells.

I play STS on Switch, but got it on Steam sale a while back in case I wanted to try mods. This video finally made me try a mod, and I loved every second of it. I found another Vex pack and it away truly incredible. I hope you get to find and love it also :)

I had a really fun run earlier with the potion pack and the graveyard pack. Armor pots that last into the next turn + cards that play an exhausted card means insane block and fire potions on repeat. Super fun

I love this mod because of how many different avenues each run has while also having the capacity to succeed! I totally would have grabbed the rare power that copied itself on startup after slime boss, since upgrading it adds 2 extra (upgraded) copies of it to the deck, making the upgrade synergies a little stronger 😳

At the risk of giving the hater attention: We really shouldn't be judging card art based on how "high skill" it is. Art in games is there to communicate visual cues to aid gameplay. This mod does that pretty darn well, I'd say, and any "but visual continuity" argument is unrealistic to expect from a community-made mod.

A couple of mods are similar to this. If I remember correctly, The Duelist and The Animator mods have different "packs" of cards that you can choose from.
