Given his history at tackle and the packers history of making tackles into guards, im guessing he'll move inside as a depth player

Food for thought….sometimes players that don’t make it @ tackle make great guards which is a position of need…

Super athletic and was highly rated coming out of college. Worth taking a look at and seeing if he can help. Maybe the Packers coaches can get him playing to his ability.

Give the man a shot at RG. Draft a tackle early if they fall to ya. Let them either fight for a starting spot or let them cook for a year and Swing to get a NFL feel. Then stick Tom in at center if thats the plan and you got a solid oline. Either get Mimms or Guyton let them work to be RT or LT then move Walker to the other side. IF im running the draft id hit a tackle early and see if i couldnt get Zinter Bortolini or Beebe. and call it a day on Oline with this move. use that extra pick and if someone is falling get in there and make a play for them. Perfect set up to not draft a dude and throw them in the fire. Can let them sit and develop. Just for the love of god draft a LB high and a Safety.

Looks like we might have our new RG/backup RT. Alternatively, they are planning to move Tom to C and see draft a RT and move this guy to RG or maybe see if he can hack it at RT, move Tom to C and draft a G.

I actually think it might mean that the Packers are worried the guys they want at OT won't be there at 25. I also think they will kick him to the right side. I wonder if Kenny Clark is being dangled in a possible trade. Maybe the Rams.

Why move Tom. Just draft Bortolini in mid rounds to backup Myers. If Josh plays well extend him. If not move on.

I’m not sure what they are paying Andre Dillard. But he does add solid depth. I don’t see him as a starter but we still need to draft in the 1st 3 rounds. Hopefully our Packers draft a tackle in the 1st round. Safety in the 2nd round and a Inside DLine in the 3rd round. And then just add depth. The most important position on any football is the offensive line. You protect the quarterback and you will have success. I have no problem drafting or obtaining offensive line help. This offense can be lethal if they can protect Jordan Love. This move allows Green Bay to add to the defense. This is definitely a project signing however competition is never a bad thing. I hope the Packers offensive lineman coaching magic can get the 1st round talent out of Andre Dillard. I still think they pick up atleast 2 or 3 offensive lineman in this 2024 NFL draft. It probably makes a defensive selection in the 1st round a lock now. Good experienced depth. If you look at Green Bay’s history of getting players like this then they come in and rejuvenate their careers. Remember this is what Green Bay does better than any team, De’Vondre Campbell comes to mind. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

12 sacks in 12 games allowing and 44 pressures doesn't cut it for the Packers. The guy is 28 years old and failed at two different team already. Luke Butkus doesn't have a magic wand to turn him to serviceable player at OT.

I know nothing of this kind of thing. Could a guy like this succeed on the interior line?

Why not try him a guard?

I think it is possible that we see him as a guard with some versatility upside. He played some of his best snaps at guard. He is shorter with shorter arms, but can move well for guard pulling and zone gap blocking. I think they want him to compete with Rhyan for the top spot along with whoever we draft for IOL.

This tells me that either GB has at least some concerns with Walker, Caleb and the other projects on the team or this is a cheap pre draft smoke screen telling everyone we’re drafting a tackle when we’re not.

Who in the world is Andre Dillard. Maybe he can swing tackle. This changes nothing in terms of the draft. The Pack will probably pickup another swing tackle next week. What are the odds the Pack don't take a corner or Tackle in the first? At some point, you'd think many of the guys that are projected at the bottom of the first are overvalued and maybe the Pack have better odds taking a bona fide second round stud in the first? Maybe Colson, Beebe, Nubin? It could happen. The draft never goes like the mocks. Just pick the player you want and don't look back.

Terrible signing lol. Complete bust for the Eagles and couldn't even stay with the Titans who had BOTTOM 5 oline last year.
