After this fight Harry lost his memory and was hospitalized. When he woke up again Peter & MJ was there for him. After they leave, The Nurse said : You have lovely Friends. Harry replied : My best Friends. I'd give my life for them. He truly did ❣️😢

Harry Osborn designed the suit with the sole intention of going stealth mode and hunting down Peter, unlike his father who designed the Goblin mask along with the green suit to bring fear onto others. Also, his snowboard glider was able to travel through narrow spaces, something which the original glider was incapable of doing.

@Neftali Hernandez Grabbing Peter by the face and forcing Peter to use two hands to even try and pry his one hand off is pretty insane given Peter's baseline is 10 tonnes. And before you or anyone says Peter was holding back because he knew it was Harry, this is of course right at the beginning of Peter being attacked so he has no idea who it is so he would have no reason to hold back.

I mean you gotta praise the acting at 4:32. The emotion and the voicecracks. The shouting and at the same time the unsecurity of the situation at 4:50, like what should Peter Parker feel and do? I always liked Tobey Maguires acting when it came to the subtle emotions. His eyes, for instance! He displays them really well.

This is why people consider Tobey Maguire the best Spider-Man. His emotions and dialogue and even his facial expressions are all so well delivered. Andrew and Tom are great but nobody will ever be a better Peter Parker than Tobey Maguire.

I never noticed that before, but right before Harry sweeps Spidey off his scooter, you see the spider sense kick in and his facial expression change. I'm not sure superhero movies will ever matter to me as much as these 3 Spiderman movies.

What I love about this fight is over how EXPERIENCED Peter is over Harry just starting his first bout with him. Give credit though Harry was able to surprise Peter with his surprise tactics and some of his gear but Peters fought the green goblin plenty of times to know how Harry’s gonna fight. Again it’s why I love this fight so much, because Peters grown so much as a superhero

That's why I observed how near impossible a job it was to have Elfman's iconic score as his template and be required to somehow produce something that stayed true to the essence of the original while at the same time building on it in a unique and fresh way. How he did exactly that, keeping in line with what Elfman provided while simultaneously managing to introduce and interweave his own iconic theme strands in a completely cohesive and memorable way is beyond me. Christopher Young is an underrated master.

You know I really enjoy seeing the younger version of spider man though for this exact reason. Think about the difference in maturity between Toby’s Peter and Tom’s. Of course a 16 year old is gonna live and die by the suit IMO at least. I love all three iterations though for sure.

Best fight scene ever! Favorite thing about this Goblin is how modern his tech is, including the glider and the spidey seeking blades. Just shows how hellbent Harry was on killing Peter to make his tech adaptable in any given situation

Lol, 2021 standards. Only movies like John Wick, Mission: Impossible etc have good action. If anything, stuntwork, practical effects used in older movies make better or more authentic action than the overuse of CGI nowadays. This trilogy had the right balance which is why it aged well.

I think it would've been cool if Peter didn't know it was Harry until a second fight. Would've been interesting to see that dynamic like the first movie when Norman calls him out and he has no idea how this guy who just picked him up and started first fighting him somehow not it knew he was Spider-Man but clearly had a vendetta

Peter could have ended Harry's life at any moment in their second fight but he didn't, he only scarred him badly. Propably deep down he still cared for him even though his hatred fueled the symbiote to influence him negativitely.

Peter could of ended this fight at anytime he wanted too. He was playing defensive and not really trying and only started to try once he lost the ring.

Honestly tobey always had the best fight scenes. One of the biggest differences between his and Toms spidey is that he’s so coordinated in his attacks at this point in his spidey career even though he got caught off guard and he ate all those punches he still bounced back
