This is actually ingenious. Though, I'd imagine the representation of the Reaper to be a more calming presence if it's supposed to protect you. However, it could just be an indifferent force completing it's duty.

If I had to guess, the Reaper in this instance is an entity beyond cosmic understanding. Power like that simply weighs down upon you in ways that not even gravity would compare. To hold the power to fight off whatever "it" is, would truly be something fearsome.

The only job that will never go away. Because someone will need to do the job of getting people when thier time is up. Death will wait, plan, watch everything that goes everything in plan. The grim reaper always wait in the back and in the shadow. They will get what they wanted in life no matter what. People cant get way from death.

The certain unrelenting calm of your voice soothes me, even with some of subject matter presented. I would ask for more military or war stories, the multiple part series you have presented in the past. Keep this up. I tell many people about this channel. I hope you get more subscribers. So I imagine that the lake represents the womb the hands grabbing the guy was a doctor,as for the whole reincarnation thing maybe it has to do with a balance of some sort like say if you have done more good than bad you go to heaven if you have done more bad than good you try again and again and again until you get it right (this processes would pretty much be hell because you'll have to endure an eternity of pain and suffering until you have achieve you're goal of purification ) (Expect edits)

Outside of this video I've had similar thoughts, although they were adapted to the whole "this is all a simulation" deal... Like some sort of super preventative measure to avoid undesirables, basically replacing any sort of justice system. Repeatedly running an individual through numerous simulated life times whilst building a profile based on your every interaction within. Once you're "fit" for reality, you pop out of your pod or something and in actuality very little time will have passed since initiating the judgement program. If you aren't "fit" you may even be executed at the end of the cycle, never knowing the truth. At the end of the day though, I tend to think we die and then there's nothing and that's all there is to it. I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised by a different, more fanciful outcome however. I'd be a liar if I admitted otherwise.

The damn puzzle was about SPACE and junk left in orbit by the missions. Idk what the River Styx has to do with that but....there it was. Creepy I think. Everytime this happens it gets a bit cringier. Hmm. So if the reaper managed to fight "it" off, then what would've happened? Why does "it" want you, and why does "it" taking you result in reincarnation? What exactly is "it"? Why did the reaper take the soul to a subterranean lake? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!
@eunjungbong5856
@eunjungbong5856 6 жыл бұрын
RottenHippo so, I’m looking at this from a bhudist/ Hindu POV, right? So “it” is the cycle or rebirth called samsara that tries to drag your away a from nirvana( the afterlife) and into a mother lifetime off being a human. The reaper is trying to keep you from being reborn and send you to the after life. In this story, Samsara wins out the reaper and the person becomes reborn.

dou jin I'd have to say being male is most beneficiary. I've only been a female twice... It does suck. I give women all props, having a period is brutal. And before you ask... Sirzechs Gr it makes perfect sense. Life is the a beast and death protects you from it. They are beings and not just energy. Kinda like god and the devil. There have always been mystical weapons for millennia. The scythe is a weapon that can deter life. Like light to a beast of the dark. It won't kill it but it'll keep it at bay

My question is, why is life a monster if it's such a beautiful thing? Is it because death See's it as a monster and once we die and come into his world we see it as a monster too. It actually brings me to a story. Life asked death: "why do people love me and hate you?" (To which death replied): "Because you are a beautiful lie and I'm the painful truth."

then why was the reaper trying to save him from his rebirth? if he was trying to save him from it than why would anything change next time? Is the reaper trying to save you for "good" or just to use you for some "evil" plan? but then again questions mean nothing when you can't comprehend anything that's going on around you.
@york7301
@york7301 6 жыл бұрын
With the idea of this story. Good and evil are not the Reaper's mission. They are only doing their job since its probably what they've always done. Think of it like a weight scale. You can't have black without white and you can't have life without death. So death is all their is and life is all their isn't. Or that's what i got from the story and how death phrased things. But what i'm getting at is try not to look at the afterlife in this story as good or evil. It's just both sides playing their part, no agenda. Just doing their job. One can reap souls. While the other can revive them. They were set up from the get-go.

Unknown Unknown I'm not sure. Death would ofcoarse try to keep people away from life and call life an it Cuasr it's alien to death, death is all there is to death so anything else must be a dark contrast to him.

Maybe "it" is something more than an enemy to the reaper, but an enemy to passing on. "It" is life. Life is clinging on while your soul tries to slip away and be free from sickness, pain, fear, etc. I think that the reaper came to deliver the soul to freedom while life just drags you to true oblivion.

@@chassitymckelvie9786 did you commit any sin at birth? Because according to the bible that is the primary sin we committed. The rest that we 'commit' fall after simply being born.

Simple answer is to release your ego when it grabs you. Allow ego to dissolve and form will follow, leaving "it" with nothing to grasp and no power to pull you back into the cycle. At least that's my interpretation.
