The Guard is one of the best comedies I've ever seen. Brendan Gleeson is awesome :)

Joshua Ó Cadhla , agreed. Loved it, and I a Yank. I only ask, to quote another Gleeson character (In Bruges), "Try not to say anything to crass" to the Yank. :)

Fuckin' love this guy, any film he's in it's an automatic watch whatever the film may be, even watched the Harry Potter films because Brendan had a role in it haha

The more I think of that short film the more I laugh. It's that last line after all that's been said and done. The very picture of a black comedy.
