Former Prison Governor Vanessa Frake talks about the chaos at Five Wells Prison, with inmates sharing their booze and drug-fuelled cell parties on social media with contraband mobile phones.
Staff at the prison in Northamptonshire spoke to Sky News and claimed they are assaulted by convicts on a daily basis.
Frake says: "Five Wells is supposed to be the flagship prison but there is a lack of support for staff due to poor training".

G4S say most of the staff have more than 12 months experience! 12 months is no experience at all.

I know of someone who left this prison days ago and this has been brewing for months,the staff have been caught getting naughty with inmates,alot of staff are young women,inmates are running wild and their is alot more then being reported on thats going on. !

You don't know the half of it 🙄 while I was was in there a prisoner was taken hostage for over an hour! beaten the hell out of while on the phone to his family trying to extort them for money. When they eventually clocked what was happening the guy had a bleed on the brain and was beaten to a pulp 😔

Send them prisoners to the army , and get them to act properly and behave well amongst others….. idk they needs to be a new system in my opinion

The ( VERY old crumbling , Victorian estate ! ) is quite tolerable and OK with a decent ( Cat C / D ) regime ... some drugs are ( tolerated ? ) such as cannabis , as this leads to a ( QUIET night , for everybody ! ) .. the BIG problem is certain psychoactive drugs that ( may ? ) cause violence and harm ... please comment ! .............
