A mistake. Never ever use wood chip with keets for floor bedding. They will consume it in preference to bird feed, it will constipate them, and they will die. Normally they needed a brooder with a heat lamp, or even a 100W light bulb, to keep warm, but as you noted the temperature was high. Use a no drowned water feeder, and put around 5ml of apple cider vinegar in the water. This will prevent sticky ass problem where the keets droppings adhere to their bodies, and will provide nutrients. The feed needs to be high protein game bird feed. Not that used for chickens. The keets should normally not be out in the coop until they have their first feathers. When introduced to the coop, keep them in it for a couple of months, and feed at night. Then let them out to free range, and they will generally return at night.

In the wild they get the whole entire plains, and in most farms and villages, keeps raised with mothers roam the entire farm! So, technically, they don’t “need” a smaller space. Nothing does...
