IN the Manga it is said that since there was No robots to fullfill his desires, MC had no interest in anything, thats why his grandpa was worried about his growth since he had a total disinterest in magic, swordsmanship and was apathetic most of the time When the Monster attacks the carriage with Ernesti inside he even thinks "Aaah is it how it ends?, well there was no use for this life anyways if i can't have Robots anyways" Thats how bad of an Otaku this guy is.

Glad to see people watching more shows that didn't get much love when they aired. It's a fun show. They play the MC's naivety well. When it comes to robots this guy will talk your ear off. I never realized it but this shows MC and the MC of another currently airing show are very similar. It's the 7th prince something or another, long ass title name show.

This is such a certified classic. It's sad that it didn't get a season 2. While i know during that time. There's not enough volumes for season 2. But the light novel is finished. The author confirmed that there is a sequel to the story.

I saw this show forever ago and....I didn't like it. I love Mecha but the characters and story just didn't do it for me. Some positives for me is that the mech designs were pretty good for the most part, somewhat decent action but that's it for me. I hope your viewing experience is better than mine was, hopefully you'll see something in this show I just couldn't.
