The reason they are on Aleria is because they need medical attention for Riz, as she’s critically injured and needs surgery to survive, and Chief is in no condition to fight as he had to be in an induced coma for 3 days to recover.

I doubt that elite from the first episode is the arbiter. Im pretty sure that the S1 elite was just a minor that ran away. He also isn’t as tall and his head is different. This Arbiter looks like he has a blind eye, has a tan-like skin tone instead of grey and a slimmer face.

18:23 Spartan-IIs have retired and live normal lives in the lore. Maria-062 was injured in the human covenant war and decided to retire on earth, she even got married and had one child. Even though Maria was retired from active duty she still was task to test the new Mjolnir mark 6 armor in a mock battle against ODSTS. This mark 6 armor was then sent up to Cairo Station in orbit and issued to Master Chief. Randall-037 also left the UNSC after the Battle of Vodin where he was declared missing in action but survived and lived with the survivors and even got married.

You seem kind of knowledgeable about the lore and stuff so i was wondering how far in the books can i read into the lore before anything in the tv show is anything but unrecognizable. Because I played all the games and got through part of the Reach book and it was all great. But literally every single storyline and character in the tv show has been altered to an almost insulting degree to what they were in the original lore. It's literally like they're laughing in the faces of the Bungie inspired lore and characters. So at what point is the lore similar to the games before witches, magic, chosen ones, cartoonishly evil military, or basically when did Halo shift into the fantasy YA (Young Adult) novel style of storytelling that was written for 12 yo girls that it is now. When did it leave its hard science and existential dread of the early Bungie years that focused on heroes doing heroic things in the face of human extinction. At what point did Halo move away from that and into the fantasy/romance that it appears to be now. There's nothing wrong with that, people like different things but if i wanted to stay closer to Bungies lore and games, what books are the best at those things? 13:23

for me Halo season 1 Story - 5/10 Music - 7/10 Action - 8/10 season 2 (so far) Story - 7/10 Music - 8/10 Action - 9/10 in both seasons I hate kwan ha story line and anything or scenes to do with her...but I do not hate the actress..she is actually a lovely lady judging by all her social media videos and talks

I liked this a lot too. I’m excited for Kai and the Spartan 3s fight scene invading a Covenant ship in space. It might come soon. And excited for the MC space battle, dropping out of the pelican from the trailer.

I’m excited to see where this train wreck takes us. I just died laughing when they killed off Keyes BEFORE they even made it to the Ring and how the fall of Reach happened off screen after Chief and the others get rescued😂

🙄🙄🙄I wonder if anybody has paid attention and noticed a Game of Thrones reference in there? The reason I say Game of Thrones is because apparently it seems as though our mysterious shaman like what am I saying, they look like the freaking red priest and priestess of Rhylor. I mean seriously I’m willing to bet the writers they actually brought onto this show came from freaking Game of Thrones.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I’m surprised that no one has literally said anything or called anything out, saying that the show is just proving to do references from shows that have no ties with halo. I mean the books don’t have these people. Hell I’m surprised maybe George RR Martin along with Dan and Dave should pretty much look at this. This looks like copyright infringement.

Enough with the ignorant hate of Kwan Ha. This is the Silver timeline ... not the game/books. The show has replaced all Humans being the ... Key ... with Chosen Ones ( ie MC & Macee). And the Show clearly states the Protectors ( eg the Ha's) were created by some ancient species ( ie Precursors or Forerunners) for a specific purpose ... and ... likely with special abilities. The Forerunners ... likely created the Chosen One bloodline or gene. A surviving Precursor ... likely created the Protector bloodline or gene. The Flood originates from ... a surviving Precursor who would be transformed into the Gravemind .. taking all the memories & abilities of its victims. So the Chosen Ones ( eg MC & Macee ) replace all Humans who could be keys to ancient tech and likely made by the Forerunners.. The Protectors ... ( eg Kawn Ha's bloodline) ... were likely created by "surviving" Precursors after being wiped out by the Forerunners. And of course the Forerunners made the Ark ... with the DNA of all life ... to reset the Galaxy with the Halos ...to eliminate the Flood ( originating from surviving Precursors). The obvious aim with the Show ... is to achieve an endless cycle ... ore cleansing & rebirth ... of the Galaxy ... with multiple incarnations of Chosen One's & Protectors .. via the Ark. Needless to say this all goes back to the Precursors who developed the tech stolen by the Forerunners. .. and being "endless ones" or were created by ... an actual god. Remember that the Precursors chose Humans to bear the Mantle of Responsibility. This is similar to God created Man in His image ... to becomes His Children ... and rule the the Universe. And the Foreforerunners are like the Fallen Angels ... who to turned against God and tried to overthrow God ..... but failed because God is God. How did the Forerunners overthrown the Precursors, their Creators? This always didn't make any sense at all.

Too bad humans aren’t Forerunners anymore and 343 ran Halo into the ground. Aside from the very few things Frank O’Conner had direct control over like one third of. 3’s terminals and the Iris campaign humans were clearly Forerunners. The rest of 3 with humans being Forerunners in mind. Truth and the Gravemind both allude to our ancestry, and Spark outright says “YOU ARE FORERUNNER!”. For the SUPER MAJORITY of Bungie’s run it was HEAVILY IMPLIED and in other cases outright stated with no subtlety/ambiguity that Forerunners were ancient humans. In fact, that’s what the Human Covenant War was started to cover up. C3Sabertooth’s We Were Forerunner video does a phenomenal job of illustrating what Bungie set up, and how 343 tore it apart.

But you toxic butthurt manbabies ignore this fact to endlessly bitch about the show not following your head canon or current fan fic. The OG lore is the Precursors created the Forerunners & Humans ... chose the Humans to to bear the Mantel of Responsibility ... were mostly wiped out by the Forerunners .... the Flood & Gravemind originate from a surviving Precursor ... The Humans allied with the Prophets to fight the flood .. the Forerunners created the Ark which made the Halos and had the gene bank of all life in the Galaxy ... to destroy all life to defeat the flood ... and replant life in the galaxy ... to naturally evolve .... to a space traveling species ... to start the cycle again. The Game & Show .... have yet to fully establish the "endless" cycle of life & death ... involving at least Precursors, Forerunners, Humans, Flood, Ark with Halos .... and ... and why Master Chief is so important to the .... story/game. Again. the OG had all Humans being keys. The Silver timeline only has ... Chosen ... Humans as keys, and two known people so far is MC & Maacee. This is why the Show can kill off Keyes or any other Human used as a key in the games. And by do this simply modification to the OG lore ... we know know why MC will always be the central Character ... not because he's a badass Spartan. Likewise with Kwan Ha ... there was something special about her bloodline or gences .. but then deliberately made her an obnoxious teen that most will quickly hate which the audience did. From the Show, ... the Forerunners likely created the genes for ... a Chosen One .. giving that person special abilities and a purpose. And the a surviving Precursor ... created the genes for ... the Protectors ...giving the person a purpose & abilities. But is it something or someone who needs protection. Remember. The Game & Show ... needs to establish and endless ... cycle of life & death ... in the galaxy ... involving Halo ... & ... Master Chief
