There should have only been one sequel and it should have focused on Alan meeting Cassie (since Melissa McCarthy is the only actress who could have believably married Alan Garner) and their relationship progressing and ending with the wedding and subsequent hangover. That was the mistake both sequels made. When I heard Stu was getting married in #2, I thought they picked the wrong bachelor because any woman who'd marry Alan would have to be as off-the-wall as he was. Then I saw Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids and said, "I believe we've found that woman!"
