Br. Nouman Ali Khan bio:
Nouman Khan began his formal Arabic training during his childhood schooling in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He continued his Arabic grammar study in Pakistan, where he received a scholarship for ranking among the top 10 scores in the national Arabic studies board examination. Under the guidance of Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and formal principal of Quran College in Faisalabad, Pakistan, he developed a keen methodical understanding of Arabic grammar. He further benefited from Dr. Abdus-Samie by internalizing his unique teaching methods and later translating his work into English for the benefit of his own students. Nouman currently serves as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 6 years with over 700 students. His handbook published by the Bayyinah Arabic Studies Institute for ARA-201 is also being used as a class aide at the Jaamiah-Al-Uloom Al-Islamiyyah, Institute of Islamic Education in Ajax, Canada.

Same for me. This sister told me I had to wear certain clothes and even offered to buy them from me but the way she did it was so embarrasing she just called me out in front of the whole masjid and I'm completely covered even if I don't have an abaya or jilbab on, ya know? Inshallah Allah softens my heart coz Im quick to anger but I know patience in the way to paradise and ultimately God :)

@wesamalshaif I remember that night, i believe the situation was that the city fire department wants to shut us down prematurely because of the amount of people in and around the masjid area. All the brothers and sisters there exceed the city limit by couple hundreds. Alhamdulillah, Allah blessed us with more time to learn about our deen.

MashAllah this is very nice, very essential in Islam and, among our Muslim brothers and sisters. As many do bring things up, things that have been done and then they say it's haram, haram and haram. Accusing and "showing" that others are "lower" than you are (if you don't have the earrings and other one does). We should remind ourselves and bring up the subject of Allah to our brothers and sisters, la ilaha illa Allah, is the first and most important thing in Islam.

i think it's probably the way you say it. ones at a masjid i did mash on my foot and when i was leaving this brother called me infront of everyone and said can i ask you a question. i came close and he said i should wash my foot not do mash because i wasn't wearing socks. i didn't mind but i didn't like that he said he want's to ask me qurstion and he got me in the middle infront of everyone, it was kinda embarassing. it's always good to pull one to the side and wishper and smile. wallahu a3lam

M'aroof means common. Call people to common, thats what the whole point here is. Good thing is someone is making wudu to pray, and it needs encouragement. When the person becomes more sincere in deen, and the interest in deen grows, it will automatically lead to focusing on finer details such as making wudu, keeping beard, wearing hijab, wearing pants above ankle, etc. etc. But if someone is making wudu wrongly, or similar such acts of worship and immediately, someone points a haram gun, then it won't do any good most of the time.

Or you could perform it while they're watching or casually bring up the steps in conversation with another person where the one incorrectly performing it can hear. I believe there's a Hadith on it that uses prayer as an example

I don't agree with him on the wudu part. If someone's not doing wudu properly and you know he is doing it wrong I feel it's right to tell him he's doing wudu wrong.

@@hanadikadayunan5648 I agree with you. I'm just saying if you notice someone didn't do the wudu properly it needs to be explained to them. Because some areas of the body are farz to wet in wudu if left dry the wudu is not complete. He can't perform his salah without wudu

Yeah Brother but why did you disagree to him when you and him have the same point of view. He said that you should not directly tell him that "hey, that's wrong, this is right" but instead you should say "brother I think you it's better to do this than that" because it will sound harsh
