For anyone else looking to use this as a cqb weapon, you shouldn’t need a cqb bolt. Most versions of this gun (and vfc gas guns in general) have a built in NPAS to lower the fps. It’s a tiny screw INSIDE the nozzle when you field strip it. You can use a small hex key to access it, I think the size is 1.5mm. Right turn to decrease the fps, left to increase up to about 460 fps with .20s.

@@pmoXotic I use a DMR and have this instead of a regular pistol simply due to the versatility it even preforms similar to most mid/high end ARs at range. But I have the original folding grip version and I don't get why this guy is against it since it's pretty damn decent.

Primary or secondary: I think if you empty your shotgun and don't have time to reload, or if your pulse rifle is out of ammo, it's good for taking out combine soldiers at close range.

2:24 I am, and I don't really understand why people say this. People put there only a vertical grip anyway, at least the original can be folded out of the way when it's not needed and during transport.

Pssstt no-one actually thinks this...Just this guy maybe when you run it as primary the extra mod functions could be fun. But I run it as a secondary indoor weapon without even a scope since the iron sight is fine. I see no need to "customize" your grip and the price between the 2 versions is the same why would I pay extra for something that's on the same gun.

@@nicolasbocchino3761 I have a RIS grip that wobbles more than the one on the MP7. Of course the rest of my RIS grips don't wobble but my point is that the small (insignificant) wobble worth the practicality of the folding grip. I can only imagine it's more of a psychological issue to you too than any practical hinderance, which I can totally understand, I feel the same way about the M4 charging handle. It annoys the crap out of me even though it's an insignificant part on an AEG (but I wouldn't get an M4 GBBR).

For CQB, it can be run as a primary. If you are toting around a DMR or Sniper and need to cover that MED and you are not worried about making noise. It would be a heavy but very capable secondary.

It depends on what I'm doing for a particular game. MP7s are a great backup when running an LMG/DMR/BASR due to their compact size

That Elite Force M-P7 is a secondary weapon to be used with a sniper rifle for close range back up in your hide. It could also be used when moving from hide to hide.

As a secondary with a sniper or as a pimary with a postal. The mp7 is a very universal design and one that I like very much.

If i was running my old sniper set up I'd definitely run that as my secondary. indoors I'd use it as a primary and my tm mark 23, or asg po9 as a secondary.

Really depends on the field and the situation Primary for CQB or if you are larping as either secret service or other form of protection detail Otherwise I would run it as a secondary

The REAL question is "is this version reinforced on the take down pin holes? The previous vfc/ef mp7 gbbr still has the rear pin holes cracking issues just like the kwa version. Unless they're fixed that then this gun is definitely NOT a reliable skirmishing gun but simply a plinking one and/or prop gun.

The kwa has it too, but the way to fix it is to get the laylax part to save the body from cracking

Have had mine for 2 years, and bought it used with 2 more years of use and had no issues with the pins! They really seem sturdy af. However the stock latch is really cheap. I’ve had to replace it already

That's the beauty of an MP7 cuz you can run it as a Primary or Sec, But i wouldn't run it as a Sec if i got an AR, I'll do it with a Sniper Rifle

One thing to note is that on hot days this gun will fail chrono, I bought this MP7 at a local shop and was excited to take it to its first game but it had failed chrono and wasn't allowed to use it. With Green Gas it was shooting 466fps @ 2.3 Joules, yes it was shooting harder than most entry level sniper rifles. So the following weekend I swapped out the Green Gas with your everyday cleaning duster and it dropped the joules and fps to AR limits and i ended up having alot of fun using it, this gun is my new primary. But with duster gas i also lost some of the kick back. Until there is an actual VFC version of the low powered bolt, I have to stick with duster gas. That's my only gripe with the VFC MP7, my shoulder was sore after 120 rounds when I was at the firing range using green gas. I'll be patiently waiting for a low powered bolt, until then though this gun is worth getting. Plus the Duster Gas isn't as hard on the bolt system either so you won't have to worry about having to replace anything anytime soon.

What about installing fg discs into the nozzle? I heard that a solid way to lower FPS on a gas gun. Idk if that’s a GHK specific thing but that’s a method that you could try so you can go back to green gas.

Well you see I TRIED to run this as a dedicated primary until the rear pin holes cracked, the stock cap cracked, and a piece went in front of the bolt and took a chunk off of the cqb bolt I had to buy because of course a cqb pdw shoots at about 430fps out of the box.

It would overall depend on the user of the MP7. If a person was looking to have a more fast paced CQC style of gameplay, they could go for having the MP7 as a primary. If a person was looking more towards a medium or slow paced style of Gameplay with lets say a Assault Rifle or a Sniper Rifle, They could have the SMG as a secondary, as it could very well hold up as a good secondary for a Sniper and the Assault Rifle user. Though I can't exactly say for certain, as at the time of writing this I've never played any airsoft or ever really shot any Airsoft Guns for that matter.

Once you get used to shooting the smc-9 you can shoot anything. The smc-9 has the lower sights ever, change my mind.

I use my MP7 as a primary and a hi-capa pistol as secondary due to me being a smol boi. I don't think I can handle an MP7 and a another primary, too heavy for me. I probably recommend for the big Bois to use this as a secondary especially with a holster.

I play my MP7 GBB V2 with Green Gas and Black / Heavy Gas (150psi), 0.32 - 0.40 BBs with the OotB Bucking from VFC no problem. Get up to 60m body shots. I sometimes use the MP7 GBB as my main gun and a Glock 45 GBB backup sometimes on woodland fields. It works and is fun. Greetings from Germany with Semi Only ;)

Primary if close-range combat and secondary if mid-range combat. I wouldn't use it in long-range combat because it's long-range, not short-range and the extra weight would be unnecessary.

Love this MP7. The video at 4:53 says barrel is 12mm positive but I keep seeing it is 14mm CCW (counter clockwise). Can someone confirm which it is? I want to make sure before ordering the Acetech MKIII

So I understand Gen1 of the VFC was not good in comparison to KWA. So has Gen2 fixed these issues? I do like the 1:1 ratio and the better fire selector switch, Hop adjuster, and more fixed positions on the stock but drawbacks personally are no white markings for the sights and not having the drop down hand grip and potentially still secondary internals to KWA. So While KWA sits around $250-275 (or potentially less on eBay) while the new VFC is at $325. Is it worth the price tag at that point?

That's a primary simple. That's in no way convenient to carry around as a secondary. A full auto pistol is much faster to deploy, rack and shoot than that.

How do I remove the orange Flash Hider of this gun? I have the exact same model and I removed all the rails. The bottom screw of flash hider exposed so I took it off but I can’t seem to remove the font piece of MP7. After soaking the orange tip on boiled water it’s still so tight and won’t unscrew
