The Book of Mormon is one of the two most amazing book ever written. I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1975 and read the book twice that year. In 1976 I bought cassettes and wore them out. Then it was Living Scriptures on VHS. After that it was CDs. Now it's Gospel Library. Every time I study The Book of Mormon the Holy Ghost testifies that the book is true. Every time I study The Book of Mormon I gain new insights from chapters I've studied for going on 50 years. That is a power.

That is why Come Follow Me was meant to “extend the Sabbath”. This week we recognize The Feast of Trumpets, which in reality commenced 200 years ago tomorrow. It is a gathering period and increase of works and preparation for the day of atonement after the “10” days of Feast of Trumpets. Dude, we are at the point of the saints being sealed to God and God preaching His own sermons, I personally believe that starts and ends near April 2024 GC at the Tav eclipse, which is us being sealed, it refers to the Ancient of Days, and a new kingdom. The church has been restored 10% a tithe of time since Christ walked the earth. We are in that 10 days from BoM to being sealed. Wedding Feast. Dude there’s so much and follow the prophet has less to do with crushing water bottles and more to do with an age of a tree. JST Gen 9.

Today I drove past an old fishing boat on an old dilapidated trailer sitting in the middle of the road. Someone had abandoned it in the turning lane. There is no doubt it had something to do with the Book of Revelations.

Great episode, though I wish it was 3x longer. Through my studies, I’ve come to the same conclusions on the timing of the 2nd coming as Shaun, though he gave additional info that I didn’t know about (how the earth’s calendar aligns with the jubilee and harvest calendar).

One question I have is: if God doesn’t approximate, and he is essentially on a schedule, then April 2033 is 2000 years since the meridian of time ended. Does that mean it should mark the end of the six seal, and consequently be the beginning of the seventh. I wonder if it’s possible for the city of new Jerusalem to be built in the next 10 years when it is occupied by so many other people. I wonder what Shawn’s thoughts are on this. I really wish it would come up in this episode today.

I believe we are already in the 7th seal. There are plenty of reasons I believe this (I've tried to type them here multiple times but every time I'm about to hit submit, my youtube app crashes). I will just stick with my appeal to prudence: what if the common narrative misinterprets what the scriptures say and the events signaling the opening of the 7th Seal have already happened in a way we never anticipated? We would be looking forward to a sign that won't be coming around, and when we finally figure it out it will be too late. Also, will we really be ready to become a Zion people if we are waiting for a sign that might have already happened? I think Jarom gives us a better way to look at it: "Wherefore, the prophets, and the priests, and the teachers, did labor diligently, exhorting with all long-suffering the people to diligence; teaching the law of Moses, and the intent for which it was given; persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah, and believe in him to come as though he already was. And after this manner did they teach them." I think Christ is already among us and the brethren, and now he is just waiting for us to realize that he is already here, the 7th Seal is opened, and the tribulations are right upon us.

There are as many people who believe we are in the seventh seal as there are that we are in the sixth seal. Each group have their scripture and evidence to prove it. If we all live long enough we will eventually see it in this life time.

I have thought of the seven seals as thousand year periods for as long as I can remember. And I know that radio carbon dating is already way off according to known science. For the base of determining the age, how fast Niagara Falls erodes, has already been cut in half by scientists, but the Radio Carbon dates have not correspondingly been cut in half. Probably because of all the effort needed to change text books. And even now the Niagara Falls model portrays a slow steady erosion, without taking into account the end of the Ice Age, and the melting of those glaciers. And one thing I've noticed about all the Ice Ages, is that the older the Ice Age the longer the gap between the previous Ice Age and the longer the Ice Ages lasted. So it would seem that the Earth's orbit is either speeding up, something that defies the laws of physics, or getting closer to the sun, which also defies physics. Or the more likely, the age of the earth is nowhere near as long as believed by science.

I think you guys nailed the seven seals. I’ve always believed we were in the sixth seal. And coming to the end of it. I also know they tell us that no one knows when Christ will return…. but it sure feels close. My estimate was always 2034… BUT I also know … or am assuming this one is perhaps determined by us. I’m a boomer… and when I was young… they always said we were chosen for this time. And every time people say… oh my gosh we are getting to that point…. I’ve stopped and realized what my parents faced…. World War I happened as they were born. They fought in the insanity of World War II…. And then their kids were facing a draft for Vietnam… they had to feel like they were facing the end of the world. And in the Lords time…. they were. We’ve had relatively peaceful lives compared. And perhaps that peace and prosperity is what is leading us down the path… 😮

I’ll try to be short, and I thought of leaving this alone, but in the video you requested other people’s thoughts on the seven seals, so I’m giving it. The concept of the seals opening every thousand years didn’t originate from any prophet or apostles. It’s taught in the church now because Bruce R. McConkie wrote it in a book prior to him being an apostle. There is no revelation indicating that the seals open every thousand years. D+C 77 is misquoted here. The phrase “each seal IS one thousand years” Is not said in D+C 77, nor anywhere else in scripture. D+C doesn’t say anything about the opening of the seals as we read about in Revelation. It only defines what the Book with Seven seals is. Joseph Smith always referred to the opening of the seals (as we read about in the book of Revelation) as something future to his time. He points out John says this at the beginning of Revelation chapter 4, and there is no other language that indicates a time change to the past throughout Revelation. Early Church leaders taught that the seals open sequentially in the latter days. They never indicate they open every thousand years.

Love this Channel you guys remind me of my friends an I on late Saturdays/Sundays hanging out and shooting the breeze - Love your work (THANK YOU) .... An observation if I could add... Not only are the seals 1000 year periods as mentioned, BUT they are historical events in an inverse chiasma form! Ie events of 1st seal have their inverse in the 7th. A key of understanding that when unlocked also prophetically opens a lot of understanding with MAJOR impacts. There's more to it than that, but that's the basic idea. I think the 7th seal opened up in 2001 and we are concluding the 1/2 hour of silence. Ezra’s Eagle is playing out and will be tested in the next year. IMO we are very close to AoA where we will be instructed by Christ himself about what is to come in the tribulations. It’s an exciting time to be alive.

Another thing about us being is in the 6th seal; think about the only times that Heavenly Father has physically come to earth. In the creation story the only time Heavenly Father comes down to earth is on the 6th day. Since then, (that I know of) the only time He has come to earth was during the restoration of the gospel. 6th day and 6th seal.

Id ask, it doesn't say the seals are without time in between or before the seals started? or even after the seals finish, ie the earth continues. Then a Seal would be the time when God actually interacts with man according to D&C 77 6? Therefore, maybe the words continuance is the law term meaning and temporal existence refers to God interacting with man via the temporal priesthood or Aaronic priesthood today? Then one could easily have a million years before the first seal started with Adam. Also Peter started one seal, then Joseph Smith started the next seal 1830 years later, ie not exactly 1000 year period of time. And the earth will continue after all Seals are finished, since the earth will be our 'celestial kingdom' . ?

2020 was exactly 200 years after the first vision and I think most of us would say that it was a very unusual year. I also had many special and sacred experiences in 2020, including a powerful vision of the 2nd Coming. I do not think we are very far away at all.

The seven seals are exactly a thousand years each. However we know from the Book of Revelation that Christ came at the beginning of the fifth seal. We also know that we are in the beginning of the seventh seal because, Christ's multiple appearances for his second coming happen in the beginning of the seventh seal they are not what opens the seal.

So there is a dvd called the star of bethlehem. It talks about what the star the wise men and Shepard saw. Any way. He talks about way too much to explain, but in the NT the apostles say Lord when shall ye return and he says when the man holding water shall be at the door. Like what? Ok, well, in the dvd (also found under that same name on YT) he says an age consists of 1100 years. And during the summer solstice during Moses it was what whatever zodiac then under Jesus it was in Ares, the ram (the Lamb of God!) Then about 2200 AD the age of Aquarius would start, a man holding water, or the water bearer. So, right before the Age of Aquarius Jesus will return. Whoa!

This is how I understand it. The opening of the seals is when the sealed part of the book can be read. john see what happens when the seal is opened not when we enter into the timeline of the next 1000 years (except for seals 6 and 7). John see what happens when the six seal is unsealed (opened) and the event that are to take place in the Six thousand years, Read D&C 77:10 and revelation 5 and 6. "The things which John saw had no allusion to the scenes of the days of Adam, Enoch, Abraham or Jesus, only so far as is plainly represented by John, and clearly set forth by him. John saw that only which was lying in futurity and which was shortly to come to pass." (TPJS 289).

This is a copy of evangelical theology. There is a difference between exegesis and eisegesis. I don't understand how your "prophets" repeating bible scripture . God's plan is perfect. Any messianic jew can share this easily! This revelation is NOT NEW!

2:12 _Jospeh Smith said that the book of Revelation is the plainest book ever written_ This claim by Joseph Smith is objectively incorrect, and an obviously absurd statement. It would be like saying “calculus is the plainest discipline of math that there is.” Well, no, it’s clearly not - arithmetic (i.e. 2 +2) is quite obviously plainer. Plus, if calculus was so plain, why do so many people struggle to pass calculus courses? Likewise, Joseph’s claim is equally absurd. It’s trivial to give examples of more plain writing, so I won’t even bother. Similarly, if Revelation is so plain, why do so many struggle to understand it? Also, why would Joseph Smith need to ask God questions about it, resulting in the only passage of scripture for which an interpretation is provided in the D&C? Even among those that claim to comprehensively understand it, there is disagreement in their explanations. Joseph Smith was just trying to come across as profound to impress his followers. Deepak Chopra does the same thing - produces word salad that is superficially deep, but actually devoid of substance. He wants them to think “wow, I find Revelation confusing, but he says is the plainest thing he’s ever heard of - he’s a genius! He must be so in tune with the Spirit that his mind is instantly enlightened with understanding! Wow, his capability is so much beyond my own.” I’m sorry,and I know you have resistance to accepting this, but it isn’t profound. It’s nonsense. It’s not a statement indicative of an inspired prophet, it’s more indicative of a fraud who is trying to instill confidence in himself by implying that he exists on a totally higher plane of enlightenment than them.

If you take the 1,000 years literally, it just isn't possible. The first humans were not 6,000 years ago, for instance. That's just fact. The first humans were about 220,000 or so years ago. It has to be metaphorical, regarding the beginning. It is fun to speculate about this theology. Christians have been doing this since there were Christians. The Book of Mormon chronology is not correct about the timing of Christ's birth, by the way. Bluebeam? Aliens....you lower your cred folks. There are conspiracies in history, but we need to be really meticulous about any assertions... Anyways, fun discussion. Light-hearted, which is needed.
