What nobody talks about with Voidwalker demon builds is what you lose by stacking lots of stamina and focusing on survivability - POWER. You can't kill things effectively with those builds so you get yourself into trouble far more often. Dinged 60 last night on a drain tank with no stamina and all shadow/spell power. Absolutely awesome.

I remember in vanilla levelling as my affliction warlock pulling mobs in a never ending chain with life tap, siphon life and drain life. Tied second with Paladin for my favourite class.

Fear as a CC is pretty scary in hardcore. Still strong tho.

Not really. Curse of recklessness cancels fear. If it’s going to run somehwere you don’t want you just curse of reck it. Then curse of agony r1 if managing mana. Then can be feared again when teady

Because they’re not as easy as people originally thought. They’re more challenging than warrior after level 30 since warrior starts getting overpowered.

Drain tanking is the way to go, classic era voidwalker is trash.

Just dinged 60 on a drain tank with pretty much 0 stamina and 100% shadow damage. Who needs stamina when everything around me is already dead.

This. People get scared with being at 60%hp for some reason. I take 4 mobs at a time, high defense to avoid critical blows from enemies, never drop to 50% health and kill thi gs very fast. If I use voidwalker, I can only take 2 mobs and he will lose aggro even when improved just by doting and wanding
