One of your best! Reminded me of a hunt in Tennessee in 2012 with my Dad who was 83 at the time. We sat up and did some blind calling. I heard drumming. 2 hours later a big thick bearded bird came in and I took him. Only drumming nothing else. On the way out we found a big patch of morels. I’ve got it all on video. My dad is now 94. Doing good but doesn’t hunt anymore. Precious memories.

You know that drumming is loud when I can hear it plain as day and I’ve never been able to hear drumming in the woods! I’ve killed plenty that I should’ve heard drumming. I guess the frequency of it I just can’t hear. These are the super cool hunts where everything just falls in place

Deer is harder find but with turkey is easy to find deer have more sense of smell, at the end of the day you become them.

In my 32 years of Turkey hunting I have never been able to hear a Turkey drumming. I know it’s cost me a bunch not being able to hear it. Guess my ears are just not sensitive enough
