I literally almost cried when I read in the description that this was their last video before they went to Vegas. It’s so inspiring to see Scotty keep pushing his recovery but it’s still sad to watch these videos and realize what he truly had accomplished before his injury. But right now he is inspiring other to do the same as him and not slow down!

Man, watching in May of 2020 and this is still one of my absolute favorite videos on the channel. It's just a perfect snapshot of what BMX is all about - having fun with your friends, challenging yourselves, supporting each other, pushing through adversity, and celebrating each other's accomplishments. The riding isn't even that crazy, but they all still get so amped up just cheering each other on. This is what all my best riding memories look like. This is the heart and soul of BMX right here. In January I almost lost my leg due to a mortar blowing up and ever since I've been following your videos and they've been giving me a positive vibe. Hello Scotty, I don't know if you will see this but I am going to write it anyway. You are my favorite BMX rider and youtuber. I am so sorry to hear about your injuries, and I hope and pray that you are okay. You are lucky to not be paralyzed (from what the article states), I hope that the injuries are not too severe (more than they already are) and can be healed. You may have a lot of surgeries but it will be worth it. If you can't ride BMX after this crash, don't be sad, you've had a very long and successful career and have made it very far and entertained 600,000 people along the way! It seems like a week ago you had 200,000 subscribers. You have grown so much and so quickly. My family is sending you prayers. I hope you get better soon and keep these awesome videos coming out!

this makes me sad, i remember a few years ago when i found out about brett banasiewicz's injury and that sucked so bad too, so unfortunate and unfair, then i got to meet both brett after his injury and scotty at texas toast 2013, i really hope he recovers to the fullest.
